So did Trump turn his account into a bot
... I think he did actually
I think i remember somewhere that some of his "Troth Sential" posts just automatically get posted to Twitter
39 likes š trump fell off fr /s
these 2 images are so funny š
There's already memes for it such as this
Of course there is
Yep of course always got to have memes
Tim just like me fr
He looks like me trying to debate politics š
At least he was honest that he wasn't the best at debating
yeah
vance had such a heavy advantage too š law degree from yale iirc
i wouldāve been terrified if i was walz
The VP debate I dont think will change anyone's minds anyway
In terms of VP policies, I agree with Tim Walz more than JD Vance
same
Considering how the 2020 VP debate went out, doubtful 2024 VP debate will do anything
my history teacher put it into words really well yesterday
vance wants to attack harris and walz wants to attack trump, but they canāt so itās just kinda awkward š
Yeah Trump and Vance have interesting differences
Trump just yaps about random crap he sees on his Truth social page instead of answering the questions
i feel like conservatives rn are playing off of peopleās lack of knowledge of the government system by saying kamala shouldāve made changes in the past 4 years even tho the vp does nothing
Makes me feel like the VP debate is meaningless then if the VP doesn't do much
They're just there to look pretty and split the 50/50 vote in the senate
i donāt know the full specifics of what the vp does but i know they mainly just break ties yeah
I believe they also join meetings with the president and have influence on decisions
They're just there for the purpose of being there
They're also there when the president gets sick or steps down
I think when Biden had covid, Kamala took his place for a week
melania being pro-choice was not the news i expected today
Trump is also probably low-key pro-choice but the damage Roe did is already done
Random fact I just learned: both the people running for the Arizona Senate seat are from Illinois
Trump's personal opinion is pro-choice for people whom were raped, incest, or other medical problems but he still let roe v wade get overturned
Yeah I was oddly surprised by that too
Not just let it get overturned, he intentionally picked judges he knew would want to overturn it
Exactly, he opened the gates for it to get overturned
Tbh, that's the main reason I'm voting Kamala
Like, ACB was very much a pro-lifers dream choice for SCOTUS
Luckily, she's turning out to be a liiittle more moderate on other issues compared to the other conservatives on the court
The roe v wade overturn was too far in my opinion. It's been a while since I've ever seen something political actually make the biggest impact on the average life of someone in the US
only reason at the moment to vote Democrat
everything else is just a toss-up of opinions I don't care to indulge myself in
Yeah, especially because there's hundreds of videos of Republicans saying that Roe is settled law and would never get overturned. Even 3 of the conservatives that ruled to overturn it said that when getting confirmed!
Yeah there's a few issues I'm pretty moderate on but the fact is that democrats are kinda on the side of what I really value right now
And Kamala is doing a great job at moderating, I would have been bummed if she didn't take the border seriously
Exactly, I'm pretty moderate on most issues in the US but abortion is an exception cause that actually made the biggest negative impact on people's lives when roe v wade overturned
I can't believe were only 33 days away
Abortion shouldn't be politicized anyway, it should be more of just a morals thing
Abortion wasn't much of an issue 50 years ago, it became a talking point so Republicans can have an issue to run on. Boy did that backfire
morally I can understand being pro-life but not everyone has that same moral so I don't think it's okay to force other morals onto people via the government
Yeah definitely a bad idea to get into abortion on a political level
I was typing for so long figuring out what to say lmao
Abortion is on the ballot in many states this year
And in a couple swing states too, which would easily help Kamala with higher turnout rates
Definitely will help her
Vance is a gaslighter
They also replied to someone I know - but they donāt even live in America
A look at the crowd as Trump takes the stage here in Saginaw, Michigan.
(For a campaign that often points out when opponentsā venues donāt look full, this visual is striking) https://t.co/NjBVF4M1U1
lmao bozo
did they just remove the other seats š
$750 wow kamala. what a joke
huh
Lowkey that's massive
for a population that has 43k in it
Saginaw only has that many people so that is a pretty big crowd for that area but yeah he really needs to stop flexing how his venues don't look full
Me personally, I have better things to do than go to a political rally
Barack Obama will tour swing states to campaign for Kamala Harris
I believe there was a falsely edited clip on circulating in Fox News claiming that Kamala Harris donated 750$ to hurricane victims, and trump posted smth about it
I havenāt read much about it but I donāt think itās real, the 750 is for each person who needs immediate assistance, and actual funds are to come
Someone pls correct me if Iām wrong tho
Here's the exact wording from the fema site
One type of assistance that is often approved quickly after you apply is Serious Needs Assistance, which is $750 to help pay for essential items like food, water, baby formula, breastfeeding supplies, medication and other emergency supplies. There are other forms of assistance that you may qualify to receive once you apply for disaster assistance. As your application continues to be reviewed, you may still receive additional forms of assistance for other needs such as support for temporary housing and home repair costs. Learn more about the types of assistance available. If you have questions about your disaster assistance application and what you qualify for, contact us at 1-800-621-3362 to speak with a FEMA representative.
It is also worth noting the user in question who brought it up has said they are basically a Trumper in the past so I'm not surprised
As usual, the elections will make some people super angry and some super happy
and then we forget about it until the next presidential election in 4 years
Hot take and this is probably obvious for you all since it's coming from me, I don't like both candidates. I'm only voting Kamala Harris because of the roe v wade overturn
surely the other terrible things trump has done should also be convincing you to vote for her??
even before roe v wade was overturned everyone in europe at least HATED him
i thought you said the only reason you were going for kamala is because of RFK dropping and going to team trump
That being the only reason is crazy to me
they voted trump in 2020 apparently too š
š
Let's be nice y'all
Anyway, I'm stressing hard
Trump's refusal to accept the 2020 election results is just so dangerous
not just trump but everyone else who refuses to accept the 2020 election results
do yall think the indy shows are gonna be a problem
Why would they?
im going to n3 and its 2 days before the election
indiana's pretty red but ig indy is majorly blue
Eh, the city is blue
so idk
yeah so at least theres that
You'll be fine, wouldn't be surprised if there's a few Trump protesters outside lol
I'm more worried about her show in Miami tbh
true
Florida is Trump country
one of my friends is going to one of the miami shows
hopefully itll be fine
ugh there probably will be protestors or some shit outside the shows
i think that happened at one show before?
As someone whoās in Miami I understand
maybe, but i expect more after she endorsed harris and trump threw a fit
Sorry, that's the 2nd reason
In terms of policies, I aligned with Kamala at a 63%, Trump 61%. It's not too much of a difference to make me upset that someone voted for Trump
I feel like abortion is the biggest one for sure that is the most disagreeable and most important in the current US political landscape
Abortion rights shouldnāt even be up for debate. Should be basic women rights. End of story.
Let me rephrase, I didn't mean to say it was disagreeable, I meant that I disagree with the Republicans in office on how they handled abortion which is a very important thing so I'm voting Kamala this time
I think Kamala has some flaws that aren't pointed out enough and same with Trump. Trump is just even worse
Oddly enough I lean more democrat than I thought I'd lean but I have a soft spot for republicans that don't endorse Trump
I dont think every republican is a racist, sexist, or whatever buzzwords people throw at them. Sounds more like a stereotype to me
They have their ideas and we have ours, its important to discuss these things to find a middle ground even if we agree on things for different reasons
Yes, yes I did. This was before he went too crazy and started being ridiculous like not accepting he lost and the felonies.
Yeah Trump, as the kids say it, should take the L and go again
It gets exhausting to hear Trump bring up how he didn't lose and there was fraud like, Trump needs to give it a rest, it was 4 years ago š
He'd have a better shot at winning if he wasn't being stupid and annoying
there's also the pics/clips of him jumping like an idiot and trump literally looking done with his shit š
This is the next meme
Oh no Iām not saying you disagree or donāt or that itās disagreeable. Iām talking in general in todayās society. Abortion rights shouldnāt be nowhere near debatable. Itās basic women rights.
Even bro is done with his bs šš
Why he look so devious š
no cause i thought that was photoshopped šš
I swear that man keeps going from bad to worse
It is.
But how many people on the internet are going to think of that possibility instead of immediately reacting?
But if you look closely, you can tell that whatever pic of musk that REALLY is,
It was taken inside somewhere.
Look at the lighting
Wait
I might be looking at a separate picture.
The one where he's jumping?
Oh, hold on.
They're both photoshopped
Look at his posture
They swapped his face with someone else.
Idk, supposedly he was there but I don't believe either of those are real.
ESPECIALLY the one where he's jumping.
Elon really drives the whole "weird" narrative home
he was there
Trump brings Elon Musk on stage, who he claims "saved free speech." Elon jumps up and down, claims he is "dark MAGA," and praises Trump.
very much not shopped @west wharf š š
IF THEY CONTROL THE WEATHER THEN WHY ARE THEY ALLOWING NFL SUNDAY NIGHT GAME TO BE DELAYED
CHANGE IT BACK RN
Yeah, I'm not going to watch that. But obviously he was there.
It's not especially important, at least as far I'm concerned.
I hate musk & š either way, both are horrible people.
The photos just striked me as off. Mainly the second one, as I've said
But everything about them is off, so ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
My brain never stops going, does it?
I thought trump wasn't going to do anymore outside rallies after what happened at the Pennsylvania one? Yet he's doing an outside one in the same place.
Are you surprised he changed his mind
He wanted sympathy for the first few days and is now milking it
I thought it was him campaign manager that made the call to not do outside stuff. So I'm just confused.
Trump is a chronic liar lmao
nah he's done a bunch of outdoor rallies since
they just have bulletproof glass in front of his podium now
It wasn't the front tho. He needs full bulletproof
i FINALLY found the ss i have been looking for š
omg. he is the nightman.
Gotta love the irony of electric car manufacturer being so loved by MAGAs lmao
These people are DUMB
Trump is unhinged
Ron DeSantis is rejecting calls from Harris over Hurricane Milton. He's calling it a political game
Like how tf do you criticize Harris for not doing enough for Helene then criticize her for trying to help for a hurricane like literally like 10 days later
For the record, she and Biden ARE doing everything they can for the hurricanes. But then you got Speaker Johnson saying they will block any new FEMA aid until after the election
Republicans are led by a bunch of sociopaths istg
well yes
Blocking FEMA aid to make a point is fucking sadistic. People are literally dying and more will die without that help and from the coming storm.
As a person who lives in Florida. It disgusts me that they are rejecting calls
Has Hurricane Milton happened yet?
Absolutely fucking disgusting and inhumane
No
Anyone in the Tampa Bay area, stay safe!
Yeah I can't stand politicians making a weather tragedy political
It becomes clearer and clearer that the two party system is inefficient even for the most obvious things like dealing with giving aid to the people affected by Hurricane Helene
That should be an easy bipartisan thing to do is give aid to the people suffering from the effects of the hurricane
No. It just means that we have shitty ppl running our states being governor of our states like Ron. We just want humane ppl. Ppl who have human decency.
True, I'm not a fan of Ron DeSantis either
Has nothing to do with the cons of 2 parties
Idk where you get that from. Itās just about electing ppl who will have at least human decency.
And Ron clearly doesnāt have that. At all.
It's mostly when you see bills being blocked whether that's from one particular party or the other that wants to block something from passing
It seems like a constant thing at this point
but that's the US government in a nutshell
Democrats want something passed, gets blocked by all the republicans and vice versa
What Iām saying is that this has nothing to do with āthe two party system is inefficientā. It just has to do with who we elect to be governor, president, etc.
Ah, okay yeah that's fair
ITS SO SICKKKKKKK
like republican politicians are blocking bills to raise fema funds, and then republican people get online and start bashing kamala for it?? the call is coming from inside the house bruh
Marjorie Taylor Greene votes no to everything thats helpful which is ridiculous
So I looked up why they did it and got this
I use ChatGPT for a lot of my research cause looking through websites that have 10 pop-up ads is annoying af
This is the most justified government spending we could be doing. The hell are they talking about?
The government exists to help us
But they never use it to help us
FEMA already has relief funds set aside.
But this was such a huge disaster
and we're about to have another
So it seems like some republicans didn't want to continue the deficit the US already has which personally the hurricane relief bill should be passed so whomever voted no to it, I disagree with them big time
You know what doesn't help the defecit? Military spending.
Fr, they out here acting like they can't help their own citizens
True, we're SOL unfortunately, Kamala and Trump support increased military spending
How about we use some of those military personnel we pay so much for to help rebuild and rescue civilians.
We really do need to chill with our intense military spending and use that money for other things to help our country
Fr fr, I agree with this too
Stop the military spending and use it for infrastructure.
Use it for housing programs
use it for school funding
arts programs
istg.
Anything that helps American citizens around the US at this point
We don't need to surpass every country combined with military spending
Unfortunately the USA is mostly a military hotspot where 50% of the spending is the military and then the rest goes to other things
and even with all that, we still don't treat our veterans well
My theory on why they don't want to decrease military spending is that because the US intervenes with many conflicts worldwide. For example, India and Pakistan hate each other but they aren't at war currently cause the US exists to break it up
I saw something on Tiktok where if the USA didn't exist, India and Pakistan would be at war, North and South Korea would be at war, Russia would try to invade all of Europe, etc. Etc. But it is Tiktok so take it with a grain of salt
The frustrating part is that the Pentagon has like $4 Trillion in "missing" assets.
Yeah I dont even know how that happens
Like they don't seem to be held accountable
I know how it happens. We funnel weapons to people who aren't supposed to have them.
This is a well documented thing that we do
With the government having the top of the line accountants and top of the line everything, I dont see why we could be missing that much in assets
ai can tend to have a bias so thatās probably not a good idea
That is true, I was wondering if ChatGPT was biased but I hear from conservatives that ChatGPT is "woke"
Operation Cyclone was the code name for the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) program to arm and finance the Afghan mujahideen in Afghanistan from 1979 to 1992, prior to and during the military intervention by the USSR in support of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. The mujahideen were also supported by Britain's MI6, who con...
So it's probably centrist tbh
Anything conservatives call woke, its usually in the center
it can be good to summarise things and then to research more specific things it says but to rely solely on it wonāt give you direct or 100% true information
However some things on ChatGPT I didn't necessarily agree with when it came to opinionated things that weren't really political
y'all AI is stupid.
Yeah thats true
I definitely do a little research on the source that chatgpt uses
I think AI is great but also bad in the wrong hands. It also kills originality
There's pros and cons to AI
I don't do any research with AI. I use knowledge databases like google scholar to find peer reviewed resources.
BUT also wikipedia is great.
The sources on wikipedia are a good place to go
at least to start
Right because anyone can edit it and it's crowdsourced. That's the only reason. Otherwise it's fine and always links resources.
ai is absolutely amazing for some quite specific things that would take humans ages to do, but iām not really a fan of things such as chatgpt
yeah chatgpt is a toy in terms of the power of AI.
Makes sense
Yeah AI is in a position of a lot of suspicion cause it can do great things but also if it gets in the wrong hands, it could cause a lot of damage
itās definitely in the wrong hands atm
I'm not sure what people use AI for thats in the wrong hands but I do know is that people can make some really disturbing things with it
AI can be a great time saver. Which is 100% what it should be used for.
Yeah thats what I use AI for as long as its trustworthy
It can scrape the entire internet for resources on a single topic so you can do research. Which there are specific AI models for.
That's my favorite part cause I cannot stand seeing dozens of pop-up ads
I should get adblocker again tbh
AI adding captions to videos is awesome. Accessibility features like this are time saving and really awesome.
True that, it's what AI should be doing instead of disturbing things like, yeah I can't mention it in here
i went to a conference a few years ago that was mainly centred around ai, the things it can do it amazing
One of the huge things that's going to be part of how we experience AI in the future is how we regulate it.
We didn't regulate the internet fast enough to prevent all of the abuse that happens here.
We already see people abusing AI capability
T H I S
ALSO T H I S
THIIIISSSSS
Just when you thought that global energy consumption would finally decrease due to the decline of crypto, AI comes along and takes a fat fucking shit all over it
Google forcing us to use AI on the first page upping all of our emissions by default just so they can train their AI model.
According to the IEA, a single Google search takes 0.3 watt-hours of electricity, while a ChatGPT request takes 2.9 watt-hours.
10x the energy usage of a Google search for just a ChatGPT prompt. Can you imagine the powerdraw of Midjourney or god-forbid Sora?
I'm reminded of a line from Dan Olson's Line Goes Up with regards to crypto and green energy
So just to head all this off at the pass, Bitcoin and proof-of-work cryptocurrency arenāt incentivizing a move to green energy sources, like solar and wind, they are offsetting it.
Any gains made to clean energy for regular use are just being negated cause it's being used by AI
What's so frustrating about the green energy stuff is that setting up the infrastructure would create jobs, reduce our reliance on foreign energy, sharply reduce our emissions, reduce the local impacts on green space and improve outcomes for energy workers. But no. We won't do it because it's a huge capital investment.
And i thought the government LIKED captialism
Like, we could turn Appalachia from coal country into a gorgeous green wind farm if a company was willing to retrain workers. Those people would no longer be suffering from their industry.
But improving the quality of life for your workers reminds them that they're not just disposable cogs in a machine. It's empowering. It encourages unions and worker advocacy.
So we can't do that
and it all comes down to individual greed and campaign finance transparency.
Fuck oil companies
see the liberal mainstream media will try to tell you there is no hurricane machine
which is false
cause this is it right here
This looks fun to enter
With proper safety equipment of course
off topic but i remember having this at an old waterpark i used to go to and they had to shut it down bc ppl kept doing backflips inside the slide
Sick
It was suuuuch a good line
No because what's a concept of a plan???????
Kamala on top
š
Thats insane
3rd assassination attempt against Trump. This is also the 3rd by a right-winger. Imagine having 3/3 assassination attempts by people from your own party
when? just now?
that's so fucking wild
When he was in California. A hardware anti-government registered Republican brought weapons to his campaign from Las Vegas
This is so fucking suspicious
I rlly find it hard to believe 3 times in a row it couldāve happened
no shots fired wiht this one right?
Yeah he didnt get the chance to do a thing
Fucking crazyyyy
Yeah
The 2nd guy didn't fire anything either, just secret service
Tbh this is getting suspicious
Its weird that every single one of these people is a right-winger
If thereās another one, then Iāll start calling fouls.
I think the man is a criminal but he doesnāt deserve to die for it.
I donāt even gotta wait for another one to say this is alr suspicious
I told my mom and she thinks itās suspicious as well, a lot of ppl think itās suspicious
1 time alr yea you rlly hated, 2nd time mmmmm weird but okā¦., 3rd time ok yea wtf this is suspicious
Yeah and the fact that it was a registered republican makes it even more suspicious
Imagine Fidel Castro who had like 540 assassination attempts š
3 times makes me think its inside job like what tf going on
They were all Republicans š«
First one, registered Republican. Second one voted for Trump in 2016. Third one also registered Republican
A NYT poll had 9% of Republicans going for Harris
There's quite a lot of them. Turns out, lots of people don't like when you try to incite an insurrection to stay in power
https://youtu.be/adqQCw4vxmI?si=j_KL7kuXwU7YxG1b ah yes, u-turns are homophobic now
City officials removed the last "No U-Turn" signs meant to dissuade gay men from cruising in Silver Lake during the 90s.

I sure hope that's not most of the democrats
I've never heard of this before lol
Okay it actually makes sense, it's not that it's U-turns themselves that are homophobic, it's that signs were put up a few decades ago to make it harder to go to LGBT places
Kinda an isolated story imo
You can turn around without having to make a u-turn to cause a traffic problem
You also don't have to remove every u-turn sign in the city
Was every u-turn sign removed in the city? I interpreted this as just a few areas
When they said "removed last no u-turn signs" I assumed they meant all of them in the city
I interpreted it as just u-turns specifically meant to deter people from going to gay bars
As long as it doesn't cause a traffic problem, it's not a big deal but if it causes accidents, that will be a big deal
But yeah idk, normally I'd say locals should deal with their own traffic laws
Its not like they couldn't just turn around without having to make a u-turn, just go straight, take a left and then another left and then a right to turn around
Its hard for outsiders to really gauge whats best for a community that you don't live in
Yeah I'm not from LA so idk what they do
But that's really weird to me
There's people in the comments that say they're gay and they find removing u-turn signs stupid
If it doesn't cause extra accidents, I guess it's not something to worry about I guess. Just strange to me
They did a lot of subtle things back then, I don't really know the details
Whatever the case, it's probably not a big deal
Yeah hopefully it doesn't cause any car accidents
"straight"
sorry thats not funny šš
Like I told my friend before the other day I believe there are republicans that actually want a decent person running for president but they just absolutely hate trump. So the chances i wouldnāt say are very low
I feel bad for my roommate who hasn't been around the USA politics. Which is funny because she's a military kid but she has grown up in Japan and they are wildly different from the USA politics.
So this is the first time she's getting the true American experience.
Yeah Japan has multiple parties
here in the US, we have 2 dominant parties and 3rd parties have little to no control in US politics
Libertarians are the closest you will get to the 3rd most popular party in the US. They are small but they are against democrats and republicans. I don't align with them but I respect them
It would be pretty obvious, youād think k, to decipher which signs were put up for traffic reasons, and ones which were put up to stop people from going to one place or another
wow already
thats wild
i couldve sworn biden was still in the race yesterday š
It feels longer than 2mths since heās dropped out
Almost at 3 months
BREAKING: Fox News reports that President Biden told his National Security Council to inform Iran that any attempt on the life of Trump would be viewed as 'an act of war'
i mean i would assume that iran already knew that
fr but it's just wild that biden named trump specifically š
i mean its from fox news so idk how reputable that is
i cant really see biden saying something like that, even with his elderly-ness
My hot take: Biden is a much better president than people give him credit for
He would totally say this
3 weeks
Early voting starts tomorrow for me
I bet it'll be packed in there
After the election results are finalized, cant wait for the angry Facebook posts from whichever side loses
I've gotten to the point where I dont care who wins but I still keep up with the election
I think Trump is farting and even soiling himself in public more and more. Thereās so many flies around him, they smell both dookie and death in equal measure. He is so cognitively impaired itās insane that this race is so close.
Thatās mad
Trump will make so many peoples lives miserable
To be able to not care makes you quite privileged
I've yet to see a reliable source for this
But damn Trump fr is deteriorating
I think it's more of some people just feel defeated, not that apathy comes from a bad place
Theyād feel more defeated if trump were to be voted in
I did not have former KKK leader David Duke endorsing Jill Stein on my 2024 bingo
š
you should care
not caring is wild
Itās scary that the election is like 3 weeks away
America will decided who will be our president for the next 4 years
Yeah it's not like I am not voting, its just exhausting dealing with it
I mean, privilege is extremely broad, we all have privileges
fair actually
Its just due to how toxic people are about politics
The nature around American politics is really toxic and it feels very overwhelming trying to find common ground with everyone šŖ
Yeah sadly it's almost impossible to find common ground
Which is why I dont blame some celebrities for not endorsing candidates
Politics never used to be this toxic, I wonder once Trump's out of the picture, it'll be less toxic
Maybe
you should care about whoās voted as president. do you rlly want one who tries to control womenās bodies?
this guy @dapper sail
Oh
Abortion is a pretty difficult topic for sure, I dont like abortion but yeah I dont think the government should be involved
yeah its nothing to do with the government whatsoever
Agreed
also i dont think anyone 'likes' abortion.
Yeah I hope nobody actually likes it. It's not an innocent thing but the government shouldn't have control over what a woman decides to do with abortions
Now we have to vote blue in the states to ensure we get back abortion
I think roe v wade is gone forever, either that or it's gonna be a long process to get it back
i wouldnāt say itās difficult itās as simple as letting women decide what to do with their own lives
You see, many people view abortions as killing babies
Many people everyday protest outside of planned parenthood buildings
Which is the difficult part
how can they be killed if they arenāt even alive tho š
If it has a heartbeat, it's considered a living thing
Its more of a catholic thing why abortions are cared about quite a lot that turned into a mostly republican thing
I believe after the 1st trimester, its not necessarily murder but honestly its complicated to debate about
I see pro-life buildboards on my way home everyday (I live in Iowa)
no
if it can breathe on its own it is a living thing
by this logic youāre saying itās a parasite because it canāt breathe or feed itself, so depends on a host to live
as a catholic, i would never base my opinions on abortion on my religion as not everyone follows my religion
I personally am not against abortion as much as Republicans are but I do understand their POV even though I don't fully agree with it
I just point out their POV to help understand why they think the way they do
Yeah same, I'm a Christian (non-denominational) but my religious views aren't aligned to political views
iāve been an atheist all of my life and i fail to see how religion or religious views are a government matter
I also believe it's the idea that it grows to become a living being is why they don't like abortion
Yeah I'm not a fan of religion interfering with politics either. The USA when it was founded made laws based off of their religious morals but it's not considered a Christian country
Religion still plays a huge part in US politics today despite it not officially being a Christian nation
Religious countries that make their politics religion based are all around the world and lets just say they have some harsh rules
So I dont think the US should follow the same route
Its not even really a heartbeat, it's cardiac activity. Brain activity is what would actually qualify someone as dead or alive. Someone isn't really considered legally dead until their brain dies. Fetuses get that at just after 20 weeks
That's fair, I think just after 20 weeks, abortion bans are more reasonable and understandable
the GOP should not push banning abortion so much honestly
many countries have some sort of ban on abortion whether the exceptions are to preserve the mother's life or just banning abortion entirely
we're not the only country that seems to have opposing views on abortion
Is this source different from āThe Spectatorā?
Itās 23/24 weeks btw
idk i just found the tweet funny
literally a fetus is a parasite by definition. until itās viable outside of the womb, it has to be connected to the mother.
In my (hopefully medically informed) opinion abortion needs to be legal at any point of the pregnancy in case the fetus dies in utero. Like, shit happens like heart and lung deformities that arenāt found until after a mother has to either deliver or abort because it died. I agree after a certain point (like viability out of the womb) that it should only be legal if medically necessary. But dismissing it as not being a medically necessary treatment is dangerous.
TRUE pro lifers support birth control availability and sex ed that is not abstinence only.
Trump taking no more questions and just swaying for 40 mins to old ass music at the PA rally š
And he keeps playing YMCA all the time lmao probably because it says "young man" š
Is the āanswer 2 more questions and then musicā text real or edited?
It looks too funny to be real lol!
I feel like real because the Moderator kept trying to get trump to take questions
For medical reasons, yes I do believe abortion should be legal
Even if you're 7 or 8 months pregnant, if you need it out for medical reasons i.e. the fetus does die in utero, then yeah I agree that abortion can be legal in these cases
Yeah for stuff like that and other things like assault etc abortion should be legal
I officially voted
I voted Kamala Harris. Ladies and the very few gentleman in here, I better not regret this
I was super close to protest voting RFK Jr but I knew the vote would be useless since he wanted me to vote Trump
Protest voting lol come on
It was a thought I had
Both candidates were just that bad in my eyes tbh
But I'd rather not see a sore loser back in office again
Its a reason many people vote
I admittedly protest voted for the libertarian in 2016. My state is a solid blue state so wasn't worried about my vote helping trump but I was legitimately pissed that year
A vote is a voice. A protest vote is a voice.
I mean yr right both candidates suck its just ANOTHER round of who is the lesser evil
Former President Donald Trump will make an unusual stop in the Philadelphia area this weekend: to work behind the counter at a McDonaldās.
Trump will visit the state for a third time this week on Sunday to āwork the fry cookerā as part of an effort to tamp down on his Democratic opponent Vice President Kamala Harrisā campaign message about working at McDonaldās while in college, according to a source familiar with the matter.
All because she left it off her resume š
I don't put Panera on my resume for my career but it doesn't mean I never worked at Panera
Nothing good will come of it for trump
Everyone knows he never worked a day in his life. He won't be able to figure it out. OR if he does he will look sooooo awkward doing it.
Or if point is like see what's the big deal anyone can do it. Then he's pissing off an extremely large portion of workforce
It might look like a pathetic attempt to try to appeal to working class voters
But you know trump won't frame it like that
be fr who the hell includes a high school mcdonalds job on their resume š
Like "after working the fryer for 30 mins I got just a little bit sense of idea how hard these workers work." That sounds great. Instead it will be like "the job was easy. Vote for me and machines will do everything. Why is this impressive?" And have a stupid grin on his face
Bro would rather work fast food than do an interview š
I think Trump is gonna get assassinated in 2025 and Camilla is gonna have assassination attempts but itās unsuccessful
nobody's going to go after Camilla. nobody has given a real shit about the monarchy internationally since the early 2000s.
but totally the assassination attempts on Trump have gotten absolutely ridiculous.
Aren't they all from his supporters too
they're all from registered republicans but that doesn't mean much.
Who?
Soz I mean Kamala
People don't have beef with Kamala like that.
I am surrounded on all sides by trump yard signs and I hate it
Iāve never seen a political sign in a yard near my house EVER until now
š
What state may I ask?
am I wrong?
I was referring to the person butchering Harrisā name
I thought your response was quite funny
Va, i live in a dead end street which is why i surprised by all the house yard signs
Trump canceling rallies and not doing interviews
VA is wild. I'm in Arlington and it's mostly Harris signs up here until you get into the suburbs.
Wait off topic but I lived in Arlington for two (non consecutive) years!!!
it's a cute area. very walkable
Yessss
queen
What does iktr even mean
i know thats right
I'm just worried about Trump's plans to overhaul the military, fill it with absolute loyalists, then use it against his political opponents
I know that's right
Kamala Harris: Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally. I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street
Kamala's response to Trumpers at her rally is PEAK
Now that's messed up
Depending on the election results, this may or may not age well but that was funny
It's hilarious and you know trump is rattled by it lol
Trump has low energy! Sad!
lets go trump!
Ws Trump
Tf
Tf exactly
LETS GO TRUMP 2024
I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT IM PICKING DONALD TRUMP
Picking for a guy with 34 felons to his name is crazy
GEORGE WALKER BUSH
GEORGE HERBERT WALKER BUSH
I have casted my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz :)) in my opinion, I think they are the best choice for America
Im not picking a convicted felon of all my options at the VERY LEAST cuz their are way worst reasons on why im not voting for trump
My god i cant spell lol
Trump is a threat to America in my opinion
Trump is very much a threat to democracy. "The enemy within our borders". Sounds like literally Hitler 2.0
nah
shes losing
Kamala Harris leading
We will see who wins this presidential election
its likely donald j trump
cuz 59-40
But that doesnāt mean heāll win the election, it could change in these next 18 days, ya never know
that doesnt mean kamala will win aswell
yes this is true
JD Vance is chill
YAWNY DONNIE
Why are you here tbh like i just dont see how someone who supports trump could be here, like its not against the rules but im inclined to believe that like 98% of ppl on this server hate/distrust trump and ar eeither not voting for him or at all
Also i have a personal fucking grudge against vance that fucker
vance is dangerous. he's able to lie with a straight face. very convincingly. he speaks calmly. that's terrifying.
This is very true and PROJECT 2025 plans to make Trump a dictator and weaponize the department of justice or something
Yeah because there's tens of millions of dollars being poured in from a few small groups
Anyway, these people are obviously trolling š¤·āāļø
lmao
Kamala HARRISš
tim WALZš
HARRIS-WALZ-2024š
I mean, its fine if they support Trump. I see the appeal and see past the DNC fear mongering but I still voted Kamala Harris
In terms of policies, both of them I could equally agree and disagree so it came down to mannerisms for me. Trump obviously has terrible mannerisms so I went with Kamala
Shoot that's pretty close
not that the national polls matter
Trump and Kamala wasn't an easy choice for me but with everything else I chose Democrat
Likely none of them will win due to the republican nature that is my town however I will take my vote with pride
Tbh I have a soft spot for republicans as I was once one. I mean, there's republicans that just want the best for the country and don't see much wrong with Trump
If they don't see what's wrong with Trump, things have gone wrong on a fundamental level with their politics.
Trump's election denialism being a problem is so hugely underestimated in the mainstream media
Like, he lied. He knowingly lied. He encouraged a riot to take control. That alone should be disqualifying. Yet, he still has solid support. It's madness
I like to think of myself as a bipartisan person. I think working across aisles for policy that benefits all Americans, rural and urban, black and white, religious and non-religious, gay straight, etc is healthy for politics. But election denying just tears at the very foundation of American democracy and I just cannot abide by it
Polls really donāt mean much
+4/5 either side means nothing really - history tells us that
They always under/overestimate one side or the other
These polls actually seem very similar to Obama-Romney polls
This election feels very much like the 2012 election. A Democrat running a struggling economy where a recession happened right before a Republican left office
The polls greatly underestimated the Democrat and it was a solid win for Obama
Even though the electoral margin of victory was more for Obama than Biden, Biden's popular vote margin was actually more. Fun fact.
And Kamala is doing slightly better against Trump than Obama in the 2012 polls
Most polls now are using weighted recall methods to adjust for 2020 error, so I expect them to not be underestimating Trump this time
this dude really came in here posting betting odds as an accurate number
crazy
Imo i dont think it is after all he has done
i disagree with u there, trump will harm so many people if heās voted in
das my city šš
johnson should really tear down the trump tower aint nobody want that here š
i im from there
twinss
Chicago!
Yes
I dont think he's that bad but he's bad enough for me to not vote him
Trump is unfiltered and I'm used to it
with all due respect he is that bad
I respect your opinion of course
with the summation of everything he's done and his wild takes
Yeah his mannerisms are terrible but I believe many still vote him because he maintained a stable economy with no wars under his administration
He had his ups and downs during his 1st term but I think the country would be in a better spot not having him in
He has many policies I dont agree with him on while same with Kamala, I think Kamala will be slightly better
yes i definitely agree with you on that
if hes elected in, im sure the overall state of our country would go a harsh drop south
2016-2019 wasn't that bad under him but then again I was in high school
Yeah his mannerisms and the stuff he's decided to agree on has gotten worse
I hear he wants the Jan 6th rioters to be released from prison
especially with the project 2025 things
now that is wild
Trump doesn't support Project 2025, he supports his own agenda called Agenda 47. There are some similarities between the two but it is less extreme
This is just his own words though
To trust him or not is up to you, that's politics in a nutshell
right
We just have to trust they'll do things we want them to
i respect your stance, its so hard to pick sides in politics nowadays but its the norm now i guess
Here is something ive seen thats like a small summary of what project 2025 is calling for
this sounds like something from some dystopian novel like the hunger games or 1984
how can people back this shit up
Fr
thats madness?? they wanna ban abortions AND contraceptives???
Yep
They've already taken steps to make it harder to get contraceptives
This is what happens when you let a fringe, far-right fraction of your party take over
Hobby Lobby is the reason your employer is allowed to deny insurance coverage for your birth control. They took it to the Supreme Court and won.
That's why I'm never shopping there ever. And I love craft stores.
are you a male or female
āāArnold Palmer was all man and I say that in all due respect to women, and I love women, but this is a guy that was all man,ā Trump said. āThis man was strong and tough, and I refuse to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros, they came out of there and they said, āOh, my God, thatās unbelievable.ā"
TRUMP 2024
š
he has to be joking
Donāt engage with the rage bait
Male
wdym she can't legally?
In the NFL server, skulling means you're funny
This is why I self skull
I only know that name because mixing lemonade and ice tea is called an Arnold Palmer
I work as a dietary aide at a nursing home so that's how I figured that out
maintained a stable economy
Inherited Obama's and started a trade war with China which crippled certain sectors of America's economy
Analysis by Goldman Sachs in May 2019 found that the consumer price index for nine categories of tariffed goods had increased dramatically, compared to a declining CPI for all other core goods. Surveys of consumer sentiment and small business confidence showed sharp declines in August 2019 on uncertainty caused by the trade war. Analysis conducted by Moody's Analytics estimated that through August 2019 300,000 American jobs had either been lost or not created due to the trade war, especially affecting manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and retail
no wars under his administration
Extreme shortsightedness considering the complete pullout of Afghanistan was entirely Trump's idea what lapsed during Biden's term and the flagrant support for what Putin is doing with regards to Ukraine. And let's not forget the meeting with Kim Jong Un? Like...why?!
Like
At almost every turn, the support for Trump is absolutely baffling
Harris' skepticism is healthy but to equate the two so exceptionally unqualified as The Donald
It's insanity
No
Trump and project 2025 are fully connected yes
Vance Especially has huge part in it
Their whole plan is literally getting trump in so they can invoke the 25th amendment so vance takes over and enacts project 2025
Don jr also was the one who picked vance to begin with
The denial of the involvement of Project 2025 is an exercise in coping. If you had a couple dozen staffers and advisers during your First Term and then after your first term, they come together and write out a multi-thousand page agenda for the government. And you run again and when repeatedly asked if you endorse this document, you deflect the question instead of outright denouncing it. That's extreme cope to say it's not.
It's called "weaving"
why is this so funny
The fact that this is going on in my city is wild, these ppl are so thirsty for attention
Yassss
On Project 2025
covid, and inheriting obamaās economy helped
vance supports project 2025
im shocked the whole trump mcdonalds thing didn't get posted in here
it got posted in meredith a bit back
The franchise owner of that McDonald's is hugely against increasing the minimum wage
Their workers aren't being paid fairly
WAIT HIM WORKING AT MCDONALDS WAS A REAL THING THAT HAPPENED?
YES
IT WAS A STAGED THING TOO
LIKE THEY HAD THE MCDONALDS CLOSED FOR HIS VISIT
AND HAD PEOPLE GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU AND SHIT
oh multiple
there's a whole 30+ min vid of it
Donald Trump participates in a "Retail Engagement" in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania.
āFormer President Donald Trump is accusing 60 Minutes of deceitful editing of our Oct. 7 interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. That is false.
60 Minutes gave an excerpt of our interview to Face the Nation that used a longer section of her answer than that on 60 Minutes. Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response. When we edit any interview, whether a politician, an athlete, or movie star, we strive to be clear, accurate and on point. The portion of her answer on 60 Minutes was more succinct, which allows time for other subjects in a wide ranging 21-minute-long segment.
Remember, Mr. Trump pulled out of his interview with 60 Minutes and the vice president participated.
Our long-standing invitation to former President Trump remains open. If he would like to discuss the issues facing the nation and the Harris interview, we would be happy to have him on 60 Minutes.ā
It was a closed ass McDonald's
Trump failed to lead at difficult times and is not fit to serve as president
This canāt be real š
It looks so ai š
It does š
Buddy thinks heās in college working part time waiting tables š
yes way
he staged an entire fucking mcdonalds roleplay basically
had the mcdonalds closed for his visit
and had supporters of his go through the drive thru
Bro knows he lost so now he gotta get the minimum wage job
Thatās actually insanity
I need to see a video
@placid jacinth
and here's proof of the mcdonalds itself being closed for his visit
āHow much are you paying me?ā Diabolical.
when 538 polls says trump has a 52% chance of winning but this was their 2016 predictionā¦.
538 gave Trump a 1-in-3 in 2016 which was way way more generous than any other similar outlet at the time.
Also, polling had a reckoning in 2016 when they completely miscalled that election that they've been trying their darndest in the 3 elections since then to try and be more accurate
Every national-level forecast has the current race as being dead-even as far as the EC is concerned
Similarly, everyone also is pretty sure that the Popular Vote will go Harris' way (everyone said this too in 2016 with Hillary and they were right)
Both Fox News and CNN (at least on their respective website hubs) say it's pretty much a tossup as to who wins
Anything 40-60% is considered a tossup in their model. It's been in tossup territory for months
Polling is 2024 is largely using weighted recall to correct for 2020 error
So that's why polls seem so close. They're adjusting for polling error. Just look at crosstabs, some of them don't even make sense!
The good news is that Kamala Harris has made some ground on some very important voters
This might be the first election in decades a Democrat wins the senior vote
The thing to remember is that this election is not a margin of error: it's a margin of turnout
And kamala has gained on voter groups that are more likely to vote. Trump has gained on groups that are less likely to vote
Stuff like this is exactly why polling error is so common in modern elections. Old polling methods just called your landline, because those who picked up the phone were more likely to vote (which was more or less true at the time). Now they're having to adjust and have no idea who is likely to turn out or not
So yeah, polling in the modern day has way more error than we're lead to believe
Trump doing a podcast with wrestler the undertaker lmao can't wait for highlights
McDonald's Donald Trump worked at failed last health inspection
"worked" I should say as everything was staged lmao
Has anyone seen musks newest thing š
Oh god do i even wanna know
Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of Tesla and SpaceX who's gone all-in on Republican Donald Trump's candidacy for the White House, is pledging to give away $1 million a day to voters for signing his political action committee's petition backing the Constitution. The offer is sparking questions among election experts about the plan's legality.
But itās only election interference when the Dems do it!

is that not election fraud..
Imagine if biden was still running š
Biden would probably lose
Biden was not all that honestly and I knew that from the start. Kamala is slightly better mostly due to her actually being cognitively competent

here's to hoping

guys if you vote Kamala then this contry will go into world war 3š¤¦āāļø TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT 2024!
i don't trust trump any more to not start ww3
No
Well North Korea is sending troops to Ukraine so things are heating up a bit so I don't care who it is can someone stop these wars please before things get ever worse
I donāt want a 34 count felon in office. You may but we all sure as hell donāt
if you think trump could stop wars you need proper education
The amount of uneducated ppl I see is scaring me tbh
I know
Oh ok
The truth is trump has low energy and is exhausted. SAD!
You fr?
The reason the US remains strong is because we have our western allies. Trump wants to start a trade war with our own damn allies.
You know how Hitler was given Czechoslovakia in the name of peace? Didn't stop Hitler was breaking his promises and invading sovereign nations in Europe.
It's scarily similar to Trump wanting Ukraine to just give themselves up to Putin "in the name of peace"
Tyrannical leaders stop at nothing. Putin has his eyes set on our allies if he's allowed to take Ukraine. Is that really the precedent you want to set? What has history taught you?
Biden was able to assemble a coalition of our allies to stop Putin from attacking democracies in the western world. Trump wants to dismantle that and leave America weak
The hell happened to the Republican party? Y'all used to love an America that stands proudly on the global stage as fighters for the free world
i honestly find it so so odd how recently in this thread you see people just popping in saying go trump this and that without any specific rhyme or reason
like no elaboration or anything
like what made this person who joined back in july and said legit 3 messages before that come on today and just post for trump out of nowhere 3 months later
it's quite odd
Yeah that is very odd
Based eminem
Me unfortunately
Me too honestly, I was 18 during the 2016 election
What a shitty year
I was 14 š§š¼āāļø
Crazy that its been four years since high school for me
I can't believe it's been 4 years since college
Watcha been doing? /gen
Im mentally struggling cuz i dont have anything to distract me from my mental problems anymore
Ok just read an article name and its titled āworlds richest man elon musk says people should relax about the costs and just have kids: itll work outā crazy what the fuck
Electoral map after Tim Walz calls Elon Musk a dipshit:
Yeah he actually called him a dishit today at the Wisconsin rally
Fun fact, my best friend was at that rally š¤
āIt happens!ā Trump claims sex change operations are happening in US public schools. (Video: Fox News)
Ah yes
4-5 hour long 40k dollar+ surgerys are happening in a 8 hour school day when you literally have to be an adult to even get those surgeries to begin with
Actually braindead
these schools can barely afford supplies and stuff yet he thinks they can afford sex changes on these kids while they're in class and stuff
this fucking guy man
Yeah lol
Oh thats amazing
IN SCHOOLS???? Bruh tell me youāve never gone to public school without telling me youāve never gone to public school
Yeah he's extremely dumb
And all his dumb supporters eat it right up
My parents have a dumbass trump sign in our yard and I know that iāll never be safe with them
"He tells it like it is!"
You mean lie through his teeth
The worst part is I think he genuinely believes some of this.
if kamala is going to do the things she says they why hasnt she an biden done them yet?
4 years and she didnt do any of them why would she do them now?
SHES NOT THE PRESIDENT
KAMALA HARRIS IS NOT JOE BIDEN
The Vice Presidentās duties are fairly specific:
-
Assume the role of Commander in Chief if the President is unable to fulfill their duties.
-
Serve as President of the Senate, mainly breaking tie votes.
biden has done many things l o l
The other reason biden and her haven't been able to get more done is because the Republicans blocking their bills CONSTANTLY
Due to the house and senate
Republicans are literally against helping make life better for Americans
Trump: "Migrant crisis"
Dems: "Fine, here's a bill to make the border more secure than its ever been ever"
Republicans: "Let's not pass anything."
They'd rather everyone suffer
Only reason there blocking it is cause it's coming from the party they dont like
There like we dont like you so we going to block as much of your stuff as we want
All they care about is lining their own pockets with money and being terrible people
And going after and dehumanizing anyone who isn't a white straight male
Why didn't trump do all the stuff he said he would when he was in office
They fully want America to go back to the 50s and 60s
Something called Covid 19 messed some stuff up I would say
could say the same about biden
And they want it so women and people of color can't vote at all
On top of being against education completely because Republicanism only gains support through ignorance and lack of knowledge
Hence why they see college as "woke indoctrination centers"
joe admitted kamala was behind all the things he did
Vice presidents cannot take executive actions
Okay this take is a bit extreme
That's not extreme that's stuff they've outright admitted
That's what they plan on doing if they win
Reproductive - can it be argued that part of it is to control women? Absolutely
Has JD Vance said that people with children should have more votes than people without children? Yes
But they havenāt stated anything about ānot allowing women or certain minorities to voteā
Top Trump aide planning Project 2025 calls for repealing the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote
You were saying?????
Geez
They fully want it so only white men can vote so they can be the only ones who ever win
Cause again
They want America to go back to the 50s/60s
They contradict themselves a lot
Half the time itās one narrative of āx group get more votes by y group get lessā
And the other half itās āmaybe you wonāt have to vote in 4 years, I donāt knowā
Trump said something about it going back to the 1790ās, but couldnāt because of āwokeā
Well yeah he's saying people won't have to vote in 4 years because he wants to be a dictator
Dictator on day 1!
That's part of the whole project 2025 thing
Also this guy, who is the head of the Heritage foundation iirc, is a
guy
If you ever want to destroy your phone, search his stuff up
Trump volunteered to pay for the funeral of a murdered U.S. soldier. When the bill came, Trump became angry. āIt doesnāt cost 60,000 bucks to bury a fucking Mexican!ā He turned to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and issued an order: āDonāt pay it!ā
Eminem and Obama hell yeah
Jfc
Eminem has always been against Trump tbf
This is no surprise, I like his music but not the way he tried to divide his community over politics
Eminem isn't exactly the most mature person to talk politics to
But then again, majority of people I've talked to tend to be complete assholes based on who you vote for while me on the other hand, I dont mind who you vote for as long as you have a reason for it that isn't intentionally corrupt or hurtful
I believe both sides have their things I can agree with and things I disagree with but as long as we can agree to disagree peacefully, it's fine with me
One side are the good people actually trying to make life better for everyone and the other side are wannabe dictators who want America to be a white Christian nationalist dictatorship nation
Depends on who you talk to tbh. Theres some Trump voters who just want a good economy back and believe he can do it while others actually do want it to be a dictatorship but I'd imagine that's very small
The Trump cult following is the most concerning thing with Trump while most of what both sides say to each other is blatant fear mongering
If Trump were to win, Project 2025 isn't something to worry about (he has his own agenda) however the abortion topic is the biggest concern that is why I'm going DNC route
I'm a moderate democrat and yeah Trump is not good but also the fear mongering is a little overboard and pretty obvious to me
But whatever helps Kamala win I guess, feels cheesey but that's politics in a nutshell, do whatever it takes to win
i mean you're saying it's "cheesy" for kamala to bring in eminem this and that while trump is doing podcasts with the fucking undertaker and staging fake mcdonalds roleplay as if that ain't 10000x more cheesy and embarassing š
That's not the cheesy part, it's the fear mongering that's cheesey
as if trump's fearmongering isn't worse?
Theyre both bad
he's literally spreading lies about shit that is just straight up not happening
Fear mongering is unethical and not very cool
no child is being sent to school and getting transgender sex changes and then returning home a new person
it's literally not happening
Trump's fear mongering is cringe too
schools barely got enough fucking funding to sustain their places etc you think they can afford to just fucking perform sex changes on kids?
buddy you're trying to play the "well both sides are doing it" tactic when one side is just saying/spreading the most batshit insane shit
Yeah Trump loves saying shit he finds on Truth Social and says it like it's true when it's not
Well, that's cause both sides are doing it
but yeah Trump's fear mongering is definitely worse
He gets all his stuff from Truth Social (his own social media)
and spouts it and makes people believe its true when it isn't
Trust me, I'm very critical of both candidates. I still voted Kamala at the end of the day (reluctantly but I did)
The dems aren't fear mongering they're literally showing all the batshit insane stuff the Republicans are saying and trying to do
The Republicans literally can't be in power or America is completely destroyed
The dems are trying to prevent hitler 2.0
fitting timing you mention hitler cause this came out i believe last night / today
Trump asked John Kelly, his chief of staff at the time, āWhy canāt you be like the German generals?ā Trump, at various points, had grown frustrated with military officials he deemed disloyal and disobedient ... According to Baker and Glasser, Kelly explained to Trump that German generals ātried to kill Hitler three times and almost pulled it off.ā This correction did not move Trump to reconsider his view: āNo, no, no, they were totally loyal to him,ā the president responded.
This week, I asked Kelly about their exchange. He told me that when Trump raised the subject of āGerman generals,ā Kelly responded by asking, āāDo you mean Bismarckās generals?āā He went on: āI mean, I knew he didnāt know who Bismarck was, or about the Franco-Prussian War. I said, āDo you mean the kaiserās generals? Surely you canāt mean Hitlerās generals? And he said, āYeah, yeah, Hitlerās generals.ā I explained to him that Rommel had to commit suicide after taking part in a plot against Hitler.ā Kelly told me Trump was not acquainted with Rommel.
Pretty sure trump at numerous points in time admitted to liking a lot of what hitler did
Lol at you saying kamala is cheesy. Just look at trump
Kid rock and ANTONIO BROWN
I'm not saying they're cheesy cause of the celebrities they chose, I'm referring to using fear mongering tactics
And whatever other washed up celebrity or artist who hasn't told him to quit playing their songs
And trump doesn't fear monger?
I dont care about WWE wrestlers and other celebrities backing Trump. I dont base my opinions off of celebrities that dont have to worry about politics
They both do
Republicans talk a bunch of shit and say how tough they are. But suddenly dems start doing it and Republicans start pissing their pants
Normal political behavior from Republicans as usual
Remember when Hilary called trump supporters "deplorable"? She let em off easy
TRUMP IS A CELEBRITY WHO DOESNT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT POLITICS
Trump has done NOTHING outside of president. No other political experience. Just failed businesses
Yet he is the RNC candidate so the RNC has no choice, it's not like I voted for him
I am more of a moderate democrat/centrist these days
I still voted Kamala, I just don't think she is a great Democrat
Obama was the last decent democrat the DNC brought in tbh
While i mostly agree- democrats are no better than republicans they are centrist which means their just a lest extreme versions of republicans- they are still very much self centered and only care about what benefits them over the public. Kamala supports israel which means she supports their disgusting actions atm
I still VERY MUCH hate trump and will never vote for him
My guy using chatgpt as a source is not very credible of you i gotta say
Its so fucked šššš
There has never been a doubt in my mind that im voting democrat
Thinking Trump is even on the same universe as any other GOP candidate is completely baffling to me
You're either rounding Trump up to an insane degree or rounding every conservative down because holy fucking shit
The complete and flagrant disregard to basic decency
Is not something to be emulated
Wait im confused
"Trump and Kamala are equally bad" like bro, one of them literally tried to kill their own Vice President
Like, you're joking, right?
This is comedy.
Im not saying theyāre equally bad tho
I'm talking to the centrists in chat
Like I KNOW he is like complete dogshit and so fucking insane and im much happier to vote kamala
Oh ok i was worried cuz like am i being stupid sorry šš
The entirety of the GOP needs to collapse for like 3 administrations so they can get their fucking shit together and not be fascists
They say ChatGPT is woke as well so I assume it's definitely credible
In terms of policies, yes. In representation, Kamala is better
Now THAT i can get behind
We can't be acting like Kamala is the goddess of the DNC but she's better than Trump
Settle your egos ladies, Kamala is the 3rd democrat that the DNC has put up that is still bad but still good enough to vote for considering it's Trump they're facing
No????? Its still AI and AI is so easily manipulatable its not a good source to get information for EITHER side- do proper research instead and stop giving ad cents to corporations that are stealing for lower class citizens and ruining the environment. Make informed decisions with MULTIPLE credible research sources and not just one google search/ai search
Iām most definitely not acting like she is a goddess/theyāre are PLENTY of things to criticize her for but she has my minimum respect for AT LEAST not turning into a crazed cult leader hell bent on ruining the country
I literally could not give a shit about who the DNC is putting up
Literally a vacant seat for President would be better than DJT
A person in a coma would be better than that man
I need my information quick, I don't feel like going through 10 websites that make their websites slower than Neptune's rotation around the sun. AI is very good at simplifying information for me
Kamala isn't bad imo, the more I learn about her the more I'm impressed
God i can not use the right theyre any time i write it
ChatGPT doesn't appear to be extremely biased
She's magnitudes a better candidate than Hillary Clinton
Yeah and Clinton was herself multiple orders of magnitude better than Donald Trump
200% tariffs on all imports my ass
Yeah I'll give credit to her for not being a cult leader
But you shouldnt SOLELY use that to make education opinions its not really proper and it just keeps people (imo) un education
My problem with her mostly is the israel conflict (i promise i wont say anything more on it as to abide by rules)
Yeah you're right, I shouldn't only use AI (especially AI that's extremely biased) but so far it's been right on everything I've needed it for. Unless it starts becoming as inaccurate as Fox News or CNN, then I'll start being concerned
AI is a wonder when it's in the right hands
She could do a better job on it, but she's got the endorsement of large Muslims organizations in America. Particularly because Trump is wayyyyyy worse on Israel and Netanyahu is a snake that wants Trump to win
Remember when Trump could've won if only he didn't actively literally let his voterbase die off in 2020 but he's actually just a stupid manipulable imbecile that is still to this day running around spouting nonsense about Haitian immigrants? The man who drew on a fucking weather map in a sharpie? The one whose appointed officers in their first term are either jailed or actively disavowing him?
Like literally be for real
The man is a joke.
And always has been.
Yeah the tariff taxes are making electrionics more expensive which is another good reason for me to stick with Kamala
Always will be
"Have we considered nuking the hurricane?" Like give me a fucking break.
His mass deportation plan is absolutely terrible. American infrastructure relies heavily on undocumented workers. Many of which are married to American citizens, work vital jobs, and overall the implementation of such a policy would be a huge invasion of privacy.
UR SHITTING ME HE ACTUALLY SAID THAT??
Trump should've stuck to reality tv tbh
Yeah basically
He actually fucking said that during his presidency, yes. It was about the same time he drew on the weather map with a sharpie.
Im - i dont even know how to respond to that tbh im gobsmacked
I mean, are you surprised?
No but like its still like crazy stupid yaknow what i mean?
Illegal immigration is still wrong to be fair however the pathway to citizenship in the US could be a lot better
All trump does is lie yes
His cult eats up everything he says no matter how false it is
He was ambivalent to the mere idea of Pence being killed by a mob he himself stirred up should tell you all you need to know
I deadass rather have illegal immigrants in this country than nazis
He doesn't care about anyone else but himself.
Border security is important, handling illegal immigrants that are already here is a very different ballpark. I think too many people equate the 2
Fair, I don't think having Nazi's are a good idea
Trump went golfing more days in total in 4 years of his presidency than Obama in 8 years.
That's true, if you were born here from an illegal immigrant, they should be US citizens cause they couldn't control that they were born here
Bro i hate this man so much
At least Obama didn't fucking profit off of it. Trump visited his own fucking resorts and courses and still charged full price and even at a premium.
I remember Republicans talking nonstop about Obama golfing. Like it was a Fox News headline literally everyday. Not a word when Trump more than doubled Obama's golf time in half the time
If you were born in the US but it was due to an illegal immigrant crossing the border, it's only fair to give the one born here citizenship
but also give the opportunity to the mother as long as they havent committed any crimes to give them a pathway towards citizenship
Man i genuinely wanna stay up and talk about this more cuz i like the conversation but i really should try and go to sleep cuz its 1am night yall šš«”
Woah it's almost as if immigrants are disproportionatly less likely to commit crimes (not including illegal immigration itself)
Which woah, it is!
Honestly this might be a hot take but
I don't care whether someone is legally vs illegally here
As long as they're like willing to work and not break laws etc then it shouldn't matter lol
Like, the reason I trust Harris more on border security is because she actually was a prosecutor and AG in a border state and prosecuted gang members and transnational criminals. Trump just locked up children and separated them from their families. One tackles criminals, the other traumatizes children.
Like technically all us whities are illegal immigrants cuz we stole this land from indigenous people
That too yeah
That's fair, I'm no snitch so if I did see an illegal immigrant, I'm not gonna call in ICE so socially I don't really care but politically I see where people come from
America is literally stolen land
Migrant crime is not real because crime statistics nationally don't record someone's immigration status! The only place that does record it is fuckin' Texas and guess what: they found that immigrants were significantly less likely to commit violent crimes What?!?! The Republicans lying about yet another thing? Say it isn't so!
For the record, Trump was a big pusher of Obama's birth certificate skepticism. If Obama was the child of 2 European immigrants, there would not be a single question about his citizenship. We all know why they doubted Obama's citizenship...
every piece of land was stolen/conqured at some point with the exception of a couple countries probably
but yeah I see what you mean
BRUH I FUCKING REMEMBER THAT- I THOUGHT THAY WAS CRAZY
Yeah the whole obama birth certificate thing was fully rooted in racism
That's all It was
Trump? Racist? I'm shocked. Gobsmacked.
I could see it being rooted into racism since I haven't seen any other reason as to why he'd be asking for Obama's birth certificate
I just love using the word gobsmacked
You could see it???? How is it not so obviously racist
Like, people need to understand that illegal immigration is nuanced but also a backbone of American infrastructure. Removing a huge chunk of labor force from vital industries like agriculture would cripple American infrastructure. This isn't something that would benefit literally anyone in America
Sorry not tryna be so aggressive but like come on
Not to mention this whole "illegal immigrants voting" BS. There's been literally no evidence of widespread voter fraud from non-citizens. It's already illegal for them to vote in federal elections. They found like... 10 cases in the last 40 years of that actually happening?
I've never actually looked up why he thought that in the first place. It's pretty random but I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt as well about things that he thought that for other reasons.
The rumor has been around for so long that other people I think jumped on the bandwagon before Trump thought about that
He thought it because he is racist
I'm a child of 2 European immigrants, born in America. Nobody would ever question my citizenship. Literally the only factor is skin color
THEY LITERALLY CANT VOTE iāve volunteered at a voting poll before!! Its like VERY hard for someone who isnt illegible to vote- to actually vote
If he stopped doing racist shit in the following 16 years, then maybe you could give the benefit of the doubt that Trump is racist.
Yup... doesn't stop these dumbass conspiracy theorists from jumping to conclusions
My god, the amount of people that don't understand how government works is actually scary
But sadly all his actions in the years 2008 through the present day kind of solidify he's racist
The whole Obama claims started from something called "birther" claims from other conspiracy theoriests in 2008 before Trump jumped onto that bandwagon
Trump didn't start it, but he sure pushed it
Correct me if im wrong but isnt it more common for election fraud to be people using dead peoples names and contacts to make a vote?? Like dont trust me here saying this cuz i cant remember where i got it from but like i heard its common
Litrally today
Like āfreedom of speechā doesnt mean you can say whatever you want š
I think most of those cases turned out to be people who voted then died before election day. Not that it doesn't happen but that's probably the easiest way... if it does happen
Most cases of Election Fraud in the last 4 elections have been committed by Republicans.
Trump can say he wants the kind of generals that Hitler had and still not lose support.
I thought he was joking in 2015 when he said he can shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose support. Nope. He was 110% right.
Oh i dont doubt that but i was just theorizing the method that ive read somewhere
One of the main aspects was racial motivation so yeah you're right about that. Now I don't necessarily know why Trump jumped on the bandwagon with those conspiracy theorists but it is said that he was using it as political advantage
Im not 100% knowledgable tho
You could definitely make an argument about him being racist for supporting that theory
