The folk I have issue with is the Americans coming over with their daughters paying £30,000 for two tickets. As we have laws over here to protect against certain practices that the ticket agencies do. If they want similar laws, the Americans need to elect better representation. I’m hearing some stories from colleagues at work that are crazy.

I feel that the American audiences are now getting a massive dose of FOMO with poets being on the set now. The crazy stories will get crazier.

I have heard that on multiple platforms. Some getting aggressive and not following pit etiquette, especially on the floor. If there’s some around me, I’m very quick to let them know. I do agree with you as I know there are people who’ve been to shows in multiple countries and multiple dates on each which is ridiculous and unfair… when she announced the tour I did get the code for the us and my gf told me to get them but I simply decided I’d rather risk it than seeing it within her but some people are taking it too far… I know rn many are trying simply because they saw Taylor changed the show “and it’s unfair they didn’t see this”! I’ve been to, according to my setlistfm, approaching 100 shows in my lifetime. I’m a very experienced concert attendee now. I’ve only had issues three times at shows, one with sexism from a male towards a friend of mine. That was a metal show, the man got ejected. The other two with issues were both seeing Carrie Underwood, as her fans are viscous. The first time was pushing to get into the Armadillo and the other time, very similar, pushing to get into the bowl at the hydro. Both times it was similar to what is going on in Paris right now. Americans coming in as it’s cheaper to fly here and see them than go to a US arena or stadium. For £68 here it’s $680 over there. At Iron Maiden, Mexicans, Colombian and Peruvian fans were the best. They made the experience all the better.

Even though I’m driving, I’m also worried about others getting back. This is good news. I’d have gone till 1am personally. This will do, as long as they are 8 or ideally 10 car trains. There’s a curfew at Murrayfield of 2220, it has been extended to 2255 if needed, however it’s expected to not go on past 2230 from a friend who is doing event security for it. There’s nearly 500 more security coming from Glasgow for that weekend. Local laws across Europe are being tested and stretched for this. If this is your first concert, it’s a learning experience as well for you. I’d suggest getting to a few more. I was once at a Blues concert where doors opened at 1830, the act started at 2200 and was off stage by 2155 as it was one act. I’ve also been to see Nickelback at The Hydro where they cruised by the 2300 curfew and paid the £10,000 fine to play their final song. They went over by 3 minutes that night. Thank god the laws here are better than the USA, Levi Stadium is $5,000 a minute and Nissan Stadium is $450,000 an hour. However US stadiums and arenas are midnight curfews.

I’m expecting Taylor to be on stage from either half six or seven pm at the latest.

Plenty of time. Tram from Ingleston to the stadium is 30 minutes, airport is 5 minutes more. My suggestion is to look at hotel rooms on the day. Sleeping in the airport is an option, if a little unsafe it’s still safer than a street.

The police will move you on. They can and will use dispersal powers on you for 24 hours, meaning you won’t get to the Saturday show. Please don’t do that. Get into the queue at 9AM after having some sleep somewhere warm and safe.

Remember this is a Category 1 event that weekend from what I’ve been told, so police will have extra powers. There is 800 extra police in the “footprint” of the stadium and 1200-1600 in the city as well. This is being battle tested tomorrow’s Old Firm Cup Final in Glasgow. And that’s a far more rougher crowd than for Taylor.

me and my friend's airbnb was £175 for one night which might sound expensive but when splitting the price up in half it isnt that bad

£87 each for north edinburgh, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. includes a kitchen and living room too but we dont really need it

only thing sucks is payment is due on the 31st may and am not getting paid till the 7th june so have to borrow some money from parents then pay back
