I love it lyrically and if I listen to the songs individually they’re growing a lot on me, my issue with Jack is that sonically it’s becoming a safe production… imo this album blended a lot with other artists he’s produced, when I first listened to side A, it felt (most of it) like a single dragged song and super long… side B helped me break each song. I am enjoying side A a lot more now that I’m listening to it randomly but yeah

I actually think side B proves that there’s a similar issue with Aaron, we’ve just had less experience with him if that makes sense? I find, for me anyway, side A has catchier hooks while side B honestly sounds more samey to me. But I’m definitely in the minority with this. The lyrics on all songs are gorgeous, but yeah I just find some of the later songs are slightly more forgettable imo. But I definitely agree with the other artists thing! I feel like both have a very safe production style, I’ve always said that… but personally, for this specific album I feel the simple instrumental production of Aaron works better to showcase the vulnerability and rawness of the lyrics! I like the beats on side A, but I have a harder time trying to match the feeling to what I’m hearing from Taylor (which was a similar issue with 1989 tv and midnights) 🥲 a couple sad bops are fine but our girl opened soooo much this time and I needed to feel sad with her 😂

There’s a lot of swearing in this album in relation to others. However, it’s tasteful in my opinion. Remember, I’m a metalhead by trade and in the nu metal age “fuck” was banded about roughly 100 times an album. Or 50 times a song, Limp Bizkit I’m looking at them. That word was bandied about like it was going out of fashion. Taylor is more tasteful. To me it’s her song that is in the Olivia Rodrigo … bad idea right? Or a Lana Del Ray Fuck It I Love You sort of vein.
Fresh Out The Slammer is a song with so much potential production value. With her starting in a jail setting. Getting out and making her first call. I love that song for the guitar work. It’s got undertones of a metal song I absolutely love on guitar. The entrance guitar is great, lots of tremolo effect. The production of that song lends itself to a live stage performance I think.

I’m looking at up to 2 hours to get a tram at the worst. It’s not going to be that bad. Generally it’s 30-45 minutes from friends who have done Scotland matches and went to Harry last year. It’s a 30 minute journey to Ingleston where I’m parking. Then it’s a good hour at 70mph to Glasgow, getting from Ingleston to M9 then to M8 is the long part as it’s a 40mph road. I’m driving, I’m planning to be home at 1am, maybe 2am if roads are going to be like rush hour. From a friend who went to Harry last year, park as FAR our as you can, she parked at her Uni, and that’s 2/3 stops to the Stadium and packed trams were going past her. As soon as Taylor disappears from stage, I’m gone. My problem is one of my group is not got a fast gear. I’m going be dragging her. Now I’m back running longer distances after injury, I’m going to be ready for a run.

Im also E18 so am closer to the trams. Folk like you Aly that are around the other side of the stadium are going to have to have their wits about them and get going quickly.

Her team is already in Paris, the stage is to start getting built in Paris in a couple days time. The aluminium flooring goes down on the 27th at Murrayfield. Earplugs. I use Eargasm Clicks and musician ones. Loops are a good starting point. I have used Shure SE215 noise isolation in ear monitors before, AirPods can work for short periods of time. I think Europe shows had lower ticket prices. I paid $300 CAD. My friend got tickets to Vancouver and paid $1000 CAD. The thing is, it was very difficult to get a verified fan code since there were 31 million entries for the Toronto show alone. Resale prices are ~$5000 for seats comparable to mine so I'm still spending a lot less after airfare and hotels

We the lucky ones!!! Edinburgh are preparing for ~20,000 each night in Rosemont park adjacent to the stadium.

The UK have 8 in Wembley, 1 in Cardiff (should have been 2 or 3), 3 in Liverpool & Edinburgh. So 14 dates in total. Talking to a friend of a friend in the business, it’s scary to them. They suggested the UK needs more 80k stadiums now. Some stadiums to be renovated to 70K-80K Plus laws to be changed for more concerts per summer. Law is 3 nights per year, except Wembley, it can get unlimited.

The advice I’m giving is Bus is best to anywhere outside of Edinburgh, unless you are travelling to a pick up point or a park and ride area. That’s where tram comes in. I can see folk walking to hotels and accommodation in Edinburgh. I’d be cautious and careful as some places in Edinburgh you need to go down some rather weird or wonderful side streets shall we say.
