Bear in mind, it’s Scotland in June, it can be 30C like the past two years, also pissing wet. Edinburgh weather is notoriously weird. The Edinburgh Har (fog) can roll in very quickly.

Yeah she has a break between the Asia dates and Europe with the album dropping in the middle so could theoretically have time to work in a change but know people might get annoyed if she changes the setlist. Maybe she’d work them in as surprise songs or something 🤔

I think there’s a possibility. I think this version of The Eras Tour will end in Singapore. There’s a two month gap between there and Paris. She could take a song out of two eras, and extend it to 3.5 hours. It’s all possible. What makes it hard is the choreography. Visuals and time code stuff technically can be done quite quickly.

I do… either add a small segment extending the show briefly with a couple songs from TTPD (most likely the most popular ones), sing the rest as surprise songs or she’ll take the archer, cardigan out (like the movie cut) and use the time for TTPD

If they are just stand there and sing sort of deals, I can see one song out of Red Era, one out of Evermore and add one more song. That will be 45 songs. We know Taylor, that ain’t happening. Taylor will want choreo for songs. We will have to hear for ourselves what TTPD is like sonically to be able to know what we are playing with. The intrigue is wonderful!!!

Definitely, although I feel her choreos are basic in a lot of aspects (not saying it’s bad because they work amazingly on stage, just from a performers perspective… they’re quite simple to follow) so it could be a simple one with props … and knowing her, she could have this new segment ready for a while😂

Definitely gonna be a very interesting journey and fun time trying to see what she’ll do as we start getting singles and more of TTPD

As someone who could not do choreography and dance, unless it’s Scottish Country Dancing (I’m good at that, best male in my school I was told) I don’t know how choreography is set up… As for visuals, the tech side of the tour, I’m there. The fact it’s ran off of 3 MacBooks on the Global clock. The fact there’s 80 different audio channels for the in ears of everyone on stage. It’s a busy environment. It’s the most nuts tour you and I will ever see. Unless Taylor brings something more nuts.
Thank god she didn’t bring/use lasers. I’d loose my mind.

I think I said before, I was almost pinned to a wall at work by the then girl gang. Told to buy more tickets next time. Next time, bought more tickets. Organised it with another group. There’s 2 of us in the place with Tix. The 1989 tour was brilliant, the love and positivity was refreshing. It was my 5th time in the Hydro. First since my mums passing. My mum liked Taylor, as her favourite in Michael Ball played her on his Radio 2 show. I find a similar love many Country shows. Especially a Maren Morris and Chicks show.

Aly is talking facts here, last one at the hydro was a hot one. It was 20c outside and it was boiling. Last year at Glasgow Green it was 14c and pissing for 8-9 hours straight when I saw Def Leppard/Motley Crue we were all chittering. Going on the last 2 years, it was 27c in Glasgow. It will be a couple degrees cooler in the east, plus the air coming off the North Sea. Murrayfield is a cold stadium outside, the stands are quite sheltered and so could get quite stuffy.

Wear them if you want. Your feet will die. As many I’ve watched say, wear trainers, comfy ones. Something with a bit of a cushion in them. If you are planning to get there at 1630 as I am, you will probably be on your feet for 8-10 hours. Also make sure the shoes are broken in too.

You will be on your feet for ages. Unless you put a pair of flats in your bag, be sensible. Aly, your area of the stadium has a fair amount of stairs. If your heels are a couple of inches or kitten heels it may be fine. I know there’s going to be folk there with sky high stilettos and be regretting that by the time Paramore come on.

There’s probably about 50 or more stairs to the concourse where you are, then the stairs to your seat. Plus, there’s no bars in the concourse, they come in via busses and outside contractors who are at “street/car park” level.

Murrayfield really needs a couple hundred million spent on it to bring bars/concessions inside the concourse. Be prepared for queues at the lassies toilets. Or just do what women did in the USA, dive in to the lads toilets. If you can bear the brutality of them.

you can also get a tram direct from the airport to the stadium as well

Righty, just had a quick look. Shannon to Edinburgh is via Ryanair, if you are staying in Edinburgh with Edinburgh money. If you are flying into Glasgow, that can be done via Dublin and even Belfast if you can get there.

Dublin: AerLingus €52 a flight from Dublin to Glasgow
Belfast: EasyJet £40 out/£18 home to Glasgow
Please bear in mind, prices are as of now, these change quite quickly. Also that’s without a checked bag, as I assume you will have. Dates are from 6/6 to 10/6 and using mostly early flights at like 6am.
There are busses from Glasgow to Buchanan bus station, then onward to Edinburgh. Citylink have these open now. Edinburgh has the tram from the airport, that’s about £20 or something. Stay away from Prestwick as it’s a hour train to Glasgow.

Just having a look at Aer Lingus from Dublin, theres a flight departing DUB at 1820 that is €23 on the 6th of June, and returning on the 10th theres a flight departing GLA at 2010 costing €46. I think that you have one checked bag with that, however i have checked on the AL website that you will be €25 for a 20KG medium checked bag. Im not sure what size of bag you are traveling with. I know you girls dont like to travel light.

I have contacted friends at Glasgow airport, they are saying theres loads of flights filling up as theres loads coming from the USA and going though Shannon and Dublin to Glasgow. their colleagues at Edinburgh are telling stories of flights now filling up to where carriers (Aer Lingus/Ryanair) can charge what they want. Ryanair will probaby be €300 a seat one way before long. Id suggest,taking that Aer Lingus flight as soon as you can.

When you get back to Glasgow, both are leaving from a similar location. Really, I’d take the train if you want to feel safer. Citylink will be as good. Just don’t take a Megabus, unless you have to.

Answer is, it’s complicated. Where I will be there’s probably the same, or less. Where you are, you will have a little more. You may have a couple centimetres more. Some areas of the main stand (E Numbers) have the legroom to the next row of the hydro. Those are the seats Princess Anne would sit with her heater and heated seats.

I’m using Eargasm Clicks. The wire around the back of your neck makes them less likely to loose. It’s not the first time I’ve used my Shure In Ear Monitors for earplugs at a show. Having proper ear protection is a must for me now!!!

Transferral is allowed 2 weeks before the event. I have one QR code. Everyone you are with will need a AXS or Ticketmaster account on their phone. If that makes sense. My group will be needing their AXS app and account. I’m planning to meet them for an hour or two in the fortnight before N2 to that plus arrange everything we need to.

Like that T shirt. I’m doing Murrayfield, that’s a 60 mile drive. 55 minutes travel. As for Foos, not even touching the motorway, it’s a 10-15 minute travel, and it’s only 5.5 miles away. As for Green Day, no thanks, it’s about 5 miles away and 15 minutes away. After their last show at Bellahouston Park, I’m not taking the risk. After a good Country to Country and killer Pendulum show last weekend, I’ve had a good fill, eaten well to say. You have a fair few on the calendar too. Traveling that far, isn’t fun. I’ve never experienced that for music, F1 races is another question,

In 2015 the 1989 tour at the Hydro was only 15 minutes for me. Doors were at 1800, I left at 1700, spent the most wonderful 45 minutes milling about before getting in. Never seen the merch stands so busy!!!
