Aly, I’ll have bracelets made. I’m Glasgow too, I’m planning a two hour commute to/from. Park at Ingleston and tram from there to Murrayfeild. Murrayfeild holds the most of any stadium in Scotland, it would be an easy £1.5billion to build something larger and more modern in Glasgow. More if Hampden was to be renovated to something smaller/modern as well. Thing is, Murrayfeild will be one of the smaller Eras Tour stadiums, so more intimate for us I guess!!!

I think there will be a no fly zone placed over Murrayfeild for the weekend. There usually is for events as big as this.

It’s announced a few weeks in advance. Plus, there is a radar system placed at the stadium or within a mile or two. It can pick up anything the size of a golf ball. Or they will use the Edinburgh Airport radar. Football matches usually have this too for the day of the match, anything under 1500 feet within a 1km radius of the stadium will be regarded as hostile.

Had a look, the stadium is 67 meters tall apparently. 3 meters short of the strict 70m height limit due to Edinburgh Airport. The wonky roof is needed to allow local houses the right to light at some points of the year. It won’t block your view. We don’t have the worst seats, there’s folk at Annfeild who will be looking through a letterbox.

Standing is in 3 blocks. Front right, front left and GA standing. There’s a split on the floor from the T branches. Your ticket will say Front Left/Front Right or GA standing. My mate has GA Standing, I have E18 seating. We are the same night. Going with different groups. I’ll be up in the stands like Aly. The good thing about being up in the stands is we get out of the stadium really quickly at the end of the night!

VIP packages will be sent out as much as 21 days before the event, however some may receive them as late as 5-7 days before if I remember correctly. Plus, VIP merch only goes to original buyer, so if it’s a resale, no merch package.

My guess is mid May, maybe late May for most. Unsure if it’s Royal Mail, DPD or god forbid it’s Hermes or Yodel for delivery or destruction of the box.

No problem. By resale, I mean Transfer of tickets doesn’t open till 14 days beforehand. Do not under any circumstances buy off of any selling platform like FB Marketplace, eBay or even Twitter/X. It’s most likely a scam.

What a first concert! Beats mine by a mile. Get earplugs, if you are not used to the sound volume of a concert you will be deaf for days after. I’ve got mine, however my hearing is screwed now, tinnitus. Not nice.

As a Senior Swiftie im an open book, I want to help the younger fans to get the most out of concert going. I have about 122 artists under my belt, probably 90-100 concerts.

I have Eargasm, a recommendation from TankTheTech on YouTube. I will be taking them and I’ll also have my Shure In Ear Monitors with me too. They are expensive for both. Loops will work just as well, they are much cheaper and affordable. I only have expensive options as to how many shows I go to.

I’ll eventually get custom moulded ones, those cost £250-300 in some places, some cost £1k or more. Taylor has ones that cost $10k per ear due to the electronics inside. She always has a pair with her wherever she goes.

For us concert goers, anything in the £30-50 bracket are good enough.

I’m traveling from Glasgow, I’m the wrong side of Glasgow too, so have to go over the Kingston Bridge. I’m planning on leaving at 1330. I hope to be there at 1500, a good hour to hour and a half before. I’m parking at Ingleston Park and Ride and getting the tram in. It depends on where you are travelling from to be honest. My friend who is going with me, her friends in Edinburgh are a 20 minute walk from the stadium, so can leave 30 minutes before doors. I’m going to adjust on the fly on the day, looking at N1 folks experience.

It’s not like the 1989 tour at The Hydro, where doors were 1730 and I left the house at 1630 as I’m a 15 minute drive to there.

It may be a place holder, I think she will be on at 1900, that gives enough time. The fine for every 15 minutes over the curfew is £10,000. The longest show at the moment is 3 hours 25 minutes from SoFi. Most are 3 hours 15 minutes to 3 hours 19 minutes. The whole show is time coded down the wazoo.

Really, there’s only one entrance to the stadium to be honest. From the tram station. I’ll envision a run to the odd gates, as the even gates only access the upper bowl. Odd is for lower bowl. I’d go for gate 17 for the rear pit or maybe gate 11 for the left pit. I got into trouble for going onto the concourse and scoping it out.
Really need to get my footage together and edit it for YouTube. Give you all an idea.

Anything else isn’t legit and you’ll either be charged a fortune (resell prices are capped on these sites) and/or scammed as UK tickets aren’t able to be transferred yet and won’t be until much closer to the dates. Yup, it’s early access. It’s 30 minutes before doors for us poors. Hydro Club, OVO Members, VIP M&G, Corporate Hospitality all get in 30 minutes early. They have all come in the front door in the front. I may be wrong.

My last time there, it looked as if it had been widened.

Disabled have their own side entrance as well. They usually get in 10 minutes early, depending on who is playing. They access the side doors. And their carer/+1 gets their ticket for free. Just remember, that’s for all and every event in every venue in the UK. Usually about 0.5% of the capacity is set aside for wheelchair and accessible folks.

ScotRail will publish their timetable 12 weeks in advance. I have a customer who works for ScotRail, he said there’s a high likelihood there will be extra trains, or 6 coach trains being extended to 9 or 10 coaches for the weekend.

I’ve got you Aly. Roseburn Public park. It’s essentially two cricket pitches. I have customer friends who are going all 3 nights to the park, they are house sitting for a friend.

I have an idea for a meet up place. At the “rear” of the stadium near the tram line, there’s a statue to Dodie Weir. A great Scottish rugby player who died of Motor Neuron Disease/ALS. Depending on how early folks are getting there I’d say 1700 is a good time? Stadium is easy to navigate.

Trust me on this one, the first 5 lows of the lower bowl are absolutely shite. To put it crudely. The pitch standing are much better. The best seats are the nosebleeds, so any one in a section that is in an even number has the best views. Odd number sections, higher the better. Rows A-E/F are going to be awful, especially in the corners like W1.

Section S2, pretty good. The odd construction fold may annoy, it’s down to the fact one stand was only 10 years old at the time and the chose to keep it to keep the costs down, otherwise the SRU would have had a circa 75,000 seat stadium.

Don’t get me on my pedestal that I will tell you everything wrong with Scottish stadiums. I won’t bloody stop. I even think the Hydro is too bloody small. I still hurt at the loss of the O2 ABC, where I saw country star Thomas Rhett with a 1,300 audience. He now only plays arena sized venues.

I did some research when I saw the stage in the Argentina stadium which has similar measurements to Murrayfield (pitch wise) and it looks like the stage might not be as far from the south end as it was in places like Mexico City but we’ll have to wait and see… I know it’ll be a blast regardless 🫶🏼

Hopefully it’s not too far, I was upset because ticketmaster glitched on me, I had side view between the diamond and end of stage with VIP and they changed after the purchase was confirmed to S13… they backed themselves with “the system allocates automatically when someone else buys them and VIP are not allowed for changes and refunds” 🙃

I saw the Argentina stadium was 105 x 70m, Murrayfield is supposedly 105x68, so keeping my hopes that her huge stage doesn’t look too small 😂

There’s more distance between the pitch and the seats at Murrayfeild. The pitch dimensions are standard FIFA dimensions for football. Our stage will be the one used for SoFi and the Concert Film. She has two dumb stages, effectively the skeleton that the single tech stage is hung off of.

I’m E18, very quick exit at the end of the night. The tram station is going to be chaotic. I’m travelling to Ingleston and parking there and taking the tram in. For those of us from Glasgow, that’s where we will be going. It’s gonna get busy there. Don’t know where you are from @vale raptor I’d take a dry run between now and the night. There’s two great areas for pick up/drop off from parents on the tram line. The Gyle centre and the Edinburgh Park station as that is close to the Hermiston Gate Shopping Centre. Ingleston has one toilet in there at the bus station building, so for you girls, you can use that once you have parked the car. If you are driving. I predict there’s gonna be a queue there for that.

Tram is only £4.50 I think. If you use the Edinburgh Airport Short Stay car park, the tram goes to £8.50.

You can, the ScotRail and Bus timetables are usually on 12-16 weeks before. Give it a couple of more weeks, then you can purchase in advance. Plus, you might a small discount. I know there’s a possibility of ScotRail either adding more services or more carriages that weekend from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Demand will be high.

Your girlfriend isn’t far from me, Paisley is only 10-15 minutes away from here. I know loads of folks who are using friends houses in Edinburgh. I have a mate who stayed in Edinburgh for years, he did Foo Fighters there and said to budget 45 minutes to leave minimum, two hours on a bad day.

According to the tour guide, he said that was one of the best areas. For rugby or football, the upper bowl is the best. You will be significantly further forward. We will only be 3/4 sections away from one another. I’m W18. We are really close to the exit at the end. I got told off for going onto the concourse where our gates are. You have a great view. We will be easily 25m up in the sky. Only thing that may obstruct is the PA repeaters for the sound. They are easily 40m tall and pack a punch. Taylor is using repeaters that are ultra compact to “try” and prevent obstruction.
