Buses stops at midnight and replaced with night buses (very limited), community trains run until 3:30 i believe so you can defently take those.

From what I've heard most of the closest hotels etc are fully booked already. I think you can find stuff a bit out of town still. We're staying about 40-60ish minutes from the arena with the subway. And I think that's the kind of stuff there is left if you ain't really lucky. So if I were you I wouldn't wait a second longer to book a place to stay. So just search everywhere that's available on the subway system!

Does anyone know what might qualify as a 'medical bag'? I take some time-sensitive medication (epilepsy meds, heart meds) and I would certainly prefer to bring them in a bag of some sort rather than stuff them in my jacket pockets, but I never know what qualifies or counts...thoughts/opinions? 😦
