Nobody was making them buy vip true but no one is making anyone buy anything. The truth was that getting any ticket at all would have been lucky. I couldn’t in either presale of any tier so the choice was for them, do you want to go or not? It’s a burden that should be placed on ticketmaster and not them. I’m sure many of them would have not “chosen” vip if they could have purchased the ticket only. There weren’t options. If there were, they’d lost the tickets by the time the checked other options. I think it’s absolutely reasonable for them to sell the vip stuff to anyone willing to buy it separately, for most who purchased VIP packages, the luxury of buying the tickets separately was not an option.
