the game wouldnt launch with half of your mods folder in. split those files in half again, and place the other half into the 'testing mods' folder you put on your desktop. try to launch with the half that remains in the mods folder and let me know what happens

lol i mean they're always gonna have updates until they abandon the sims. and even with these issue it's like we do need updates.

we can't just leave the game as is with all the issues it still currently has and hopefully this issue is unique to this one update and we wont have it happen again. i think given the type of issue it caused, coming out with the marketplace update, and on the heals of the last upset for R&L it's def giving bad vibes but i dont think the game breaks this badly normally with updates.

obviously some issues do arise with updates like the black photos which is a major one, but i def do not want to see them stop updating the game

would be a bad sign that eventually they'll stop having support for the game entirely

if you find the link, its these 4. you can make fully custom venues that just work when you visit, fully custom NPCs at those venues, set up event schedules, make full scheduled days of events that visitors foll ow, create custom vacation setups, even run reality shows, but the gist of it is that it's in-game modding tools to create custom NPC and visitor situations. If you read my explainers on how existing venues work it also helps understand how powerful it gets as you can basically recreate existing venues and modify how they behave. The getaway system uses the custom venue setup as a daily schedule, but as a rented lot you attend and claim beds in. The devs advertised it as a summer camp pack but its so so so so much more powerful than that. there is a default bed and breakfast in the new world that can be used as a template guide for a resort style getaway.

This is my reshade, it's pretty simple color adjustments. very low impact but has a huge impact on colors and shading

its a bit extreme for some people's taste but i like cooler colors lol

but the thing with reshade is its post-processing so you can literally edit it with the game open live using an in-game menu

so if you are looking at vanessa jeong like "ok this kinda eliminated some of hte depth of her facial features" you can tweak whatever settings you want on the go until its just right. i think my preset only adjusts 3 things and they're all low low low low low impact.

At which point, she got so mad she had a heart attack and died. This did not stop the delivery of her last order of orange juice- and by the time I ordered another, another chef had practically stepped over her still-warm body to deliver me more, allowing my child test sim to become a childhood alcoholic. on aging up, he will become a regular alcoholic. yes, this is a mechanic of the game without mods.

I will also add, dinner service continued as normal and Dine Out works fine nowadays without mods.

somtimes the sims just takes awhile to close, alternatively if you have to turn it off and want to right away, ensure you've saved and just use taskbar to close it

i took out 'mods' folder to update my game and mods yesterday (i just took it out, i didnt update anything yesterday) today i updated the sims, and new mods folder appeared with this inside (second picture is whats in it) after i update my mods can i take it out and put the old folder in with updated mods or that thing has to stay?

resource cfg will automatically be generated in the mods folder

you can delete it, itll come back; it helps read mod files im p sure
