My love affair with The Sims started all the way back in 2001 when my parents bought our first home PC. It came with a bundle of games and The Sims was one of them. I was hooked from the moment I booted it up for the first time.
The music and quirky humour just hold so many nostalgic feelings for me.
I dabbled with using mods and cc but it wasn't until The Sims 2 and the introduction of Body Shop that I started making my own CAS recolours and then transitioned into working with objects and even making some small bug fixes and text corrections. It was during this time that I started sharing my own creations with the wider community through Sims specific file hosting websites and forums.
I told myself I wasn't going to move onto The Sims 3 when it released as there was still a lot of content I had never fully explored in TS2 but I got severe FOMO and caved, buyng the game a few months after release.
I didn't make the same mistake when The Sims 4 released and even splurged for the Collector's Edition (Which EA App no longer calls it 😭)
These days I actually play the game very little compared to the amount of time I spend making content for it. It has transitioned into more of a creative outlet for me.
All in all, I cannot imagine my life without The Sims being a part of it. ❤️

Me and my wife first met when I ordered food at her workplace. She noticed I looked like an artist and asked if I was one, I confirmed I was one. We started talking about my sims tattoo sleeve which I designed and found out we were both simmers so we decided to become discord friends to collaborate on art and game together. I went home, and we started chatting online, we joined a call where we played The Sims 4 together and discovered we both had an appreciation for dark humor. Soon after she confessed her attraction to me and asked me on a New Year's Eve date, where we realized we loved each other and had our first kiss. Now we're married and had a sims theme wedding, we fell in love because of our mutual love for art and sims and we're as happy as can be together

Well i thought I'll share too. This is my favorite, main and beloved couple that I play everyday since i first started playing the sims 4 in 2018. They changed a lot but their "souls" always remained the same. They're odd for many but I don't mind, simmers have different tastes and it's always so sweet to see people having their own little worlds. I don't take pictures all that often in my game, but here's a story... one of my legacy heirs went to university and moved in with the Pleasant sisters as a roommate.
