Depending on the dog breed (my frenchie for example) needs a monthly check up due to major breed health concerns (we rescued her from a toxic breeder, did not purchase). There are many breed Depending health concerns for many dogs and dog mixes. Mutts can be healthier or more prone to illnesses Depending on their breeds. As for behavior chewing on things will be with them as an adult and you can train them to not do it of course, sometimes they will surprise you by breaking the rules.

I have my cat done by me, she is one of the tuxedo ones but her markings are VERY unique so I had to fill all of the white areas in by hand since the tuxedo cat that is in sims doesn't suit her at all. Yeah, I live in rural area, and a few years ago the property just south of me demolished an old barn that was infested with rats. Of course, they scattered, as rats do. It just so happened that we were in the middle of doing some remodeling work and they got in. That was a nightmare! I believe it took about four or five months to finally get rid of the infestation. There was so much food waste.

In the midst of this ordeal, I found out that my cat was a princess, and not, in fact, a hunter. He is great at being a Love, but he’s not so much a hunter.

I fully agree, my previous was a full pug. They are a whole lot of dog full of energy but due to the extreme breeding on a appearance they a limited on age. Pug didnt look like that in history as well, so did many breeds.

They indeed outcrossing yes, it is helpfull but the still breeding on appearance. I dont think you can breed a dog on behavior, its more the home they grow up in and what behavior they see from there parents, sisters and brothers + what the breeder teaches them.

I understand that, because they usually used as status symbol or guarding dogs. Many people dislike Shepherds as well for that reason. In the right hands they incredible sweet and caring. Any dog who has learned specific behavior, that feels threatened, discomfort or his/her familie/"pack" is attacked? Will bite.

This a full pug by the way. Our previous boy, wouldnt miss him for the world but I will never ever buy a pup of a breeder. I understand people who do but for me it's only adoption. I also like the challenge to get them somewhat normal again 😅

Yup. Born in the spring of 2009. A friend of mine sent a call to arms on my space of all things. She rescued him as a kitten from some kids that were trying to drown him in the swimming pool at her apartment, but couldn’t keep him. So when I saw that post, I had to meet him. He came home with me in a Mountain Dew box! His eyes were still blue, but after a couple of weeks, they turned green so I would guess he was about 7-8 weeks when I got him in June.

I had many of those as aswell "I cant keep them, I am allergic ect" Either they were sick or had behavior problems. Lou is my first kitten bought, had to wait 12 weeks for her. Got her from a family that planned to make some cash for a holiday. They ended up from the 8 selling two and the rest went to family 😆

Yeah, she already had two cats, and that was the limit for her apartment on the lease so she couldn’t keep a third. So I took him in and we’ve been companions ever since. It’s so sweet that you take your cat with you on a holiday!

Mix, probably with mini staffie years later. Got him as suppose to be wiener/pug, met a person who did own wieners kennel club and was a no go in mix, could not see the wiener. Vet gambled boxer mix, we Labrador since he was very interested in waterbirds. Later on I met someone on the walk in staffords kennel club and he was positive on the build that he was pug mixed with staffie. He was a dragon in the start when we got him, whole lot of again pupper training and trust building. Guess they left him in the garden but no walkies, no protection overall. But yeah he is my good boy now 🥰
