And honestly, aside from my own discomfort, he was vibey and knew a lot of the songs and was clearly there with his girlfriend
i had this in newcastle but with a guy behind me, he kept closing in really close on me when he had space behind him š
Iāve been very lucky with barricade recently, lots of room and everyoneās been so sweet
Yeah, thatās really not cool
once she was moved it was fine thankfully
ARCANINE NOT NOW
I mean bumping into people and personal space transgressions are just part of going to gigs and itās impossible to guess intent so itās always good to be cautious
i've definitely had it worse
Iām aware that i attend these gigs with significantly younger and often vulnerable people so try my best too, but I canāt blame people for being suspicious whatsoever
when i saw taylor swift in edinburgh the guy stood behind me was using my head as a tripod for his phone
Wtf!!!?
id sob at that point
thats definitely been my worst standing experience, but it was also at a stadium so i was kinda prepared for it to be packed and a little uncomfortable
i was actively trying not to crash out unfortunately š
The worst for me was Henge
The general vibe of the TLDP audience is much better than for many artists (save for the queuing culture that's developing), but there's always going to be a few exceptions š
Henge have an⦠interesting⦠fanbase anyway but I actually had fight or flight during most of it
i'd been there since 11am queuing and got a good spot like 2 rows back from barrier and ended up squashed between two incredibly bored looking boyfriends
Unfortunately, i know iām probably a bit of that by turning up as early as I do - but iāve never experienced a fandom or love for a band as I have with TLDP , nor have I been attending previously - iām a bit of a kid in a candy shop, for want of a better term
Of course i would never push in or get angry, weāre all there ultimately for our love of the music.. thankfully so far, iāve not experienced that
i dont think turning up a couple hours before is bad, but when people are there since early morning its a little yikes
That is a bit⦠I was three hours early for brid, and thatās probably my limit
A couple of hours before is no issue at all, and typical for most prominent artists
in leeds last year i queued from around 11am and thats because my friend's train got in at that time and we had nothing to do before our cat cafe reservation
unfortunately i am not willing to queue for that long usually
People at the crawlers shows will queue from like 10am and these arent even for arena shows
i went to see a smaller band and turned up to doors with LITERALLY no one there
i think there was an issue with alessi rose (?) fans queuing from like 11pm the day before for a 1.5k cap venue
We had drama at one of the shows bc alot of the people that get therr earlier were for accessibility and someone kicked off bc apparently they were faking it. Started a whole drama
I've done midday a couple of times, for my absolute favourite artist, but that's very much the exception and because we were there as a big group (and I'd travelled a long way)
Me and a friend jazz went to see nell mescal expecting a massive queue at arts club. No queue, got barricade without any issues it was great
the girl behind me started pushing me with her coat and by the end of the concert her and her tall friend ended up in front of me somehow š
Jesus
the joys of small artists fr
Alot of the fans have chronic illnesses and other things along those lines and the girl started spewing nonsense and we all cancelled her on tiktok after she made a passive aggressive video
Yesss and got setlist and met her after it was awesome
Itās wild how people manage to teleport like that
i see so many people randomly spewing shit about accessibility just because they're mad they get in before them
iām pretty sure everyone who was in the accessibility queue last night ended up behind the people who were first in the normal queue
Iām likely going to try this for Brixton night 2, only because I want to be close for what will likely be a very special night and maybe retire wanting to be barricade
after the gig i got to meet all the members and got a pic with them! also got free merch it was bliss
Aw love that for you!
In fairness, I can understand the frustration if there's no dedicated accessibility area and they end up taking most of the barricade
Perks of running small band discords is free merch for helping out
Accessibility was also right at the back, wasnāt it?
i know the lead singer quite well so he even got his mum tl talk to me and rosa, it was super goofy
to*
i had general admission tickets so i was in standing, but yeah i think there was accessibility seats at the back
Like how awful to shove accessibility to the back like an afterthought
If that's the plan, you'll need to have O2 Priority - just in case you don't already
Thank you, I wasnāt aware of that
Mineās an album presale one
Most sizeable places have an area that's elevated - either at the back or to one side. Practically I think that's the only feasible way they could
in most festivals they have an area with seats for people who canāt do crowds and then an elevated area for people who canāt stand
It's unrelated to the ticket they you have - you need to show a priority queue code on the day
or you can ask someone to take you in with them
juts be very nice and make friends in the queue
i had the same ticket without priority, people who have o2 priority can bring in up to 3 guests with them so you can find someone to bring you into priority with them!! thatās what i did, queued from about 4pm in newcastle and got barricade
Ahh okay! Iāll try and figure this out
You can request someone to come in as an assistant, ive done that for s friend before
That works too, yes
(although if you donāt find someone, sometimes they donāt check priority! itās risky but in newcastle they didnāt check we actually had priority at all and just let us in)
i fear they also just let everyone in at once there
I wonāt be too distraught if I donāt get barricade, but a boy can dream š¤£
Liverpool is the only O2 venue that doesn't operate a priority queue, but it's only for each venue's main room
liverpool o2 is the worst venue ive ever been to
But thanks for making me aware, It means I maybe have the opportunity to enjoy myself a bit more during the day
I don't hate it, but it's nothing special
I saw the sherlocks and the crawlers in the Liverpool o2, I much preferred it for the Sherlocks
I saw CMAT in there, it was okay, just a venue with nothing specisl
I saw crawlwrs in the o2 as well
i saw wallows there a few years ago and it was the hottest ive ever been
The stairs in that venue always kill me
Yup
everyone was sweating and i could see the sweat dripping from dylan minette within 10 minutes of him being on stage
Slowly slowlyā¦
and the girls at barricade kept not passing the water back
Oh yeah we were boiling, it was also the hottest day in June which didnāt helpā¦

@imogenandtheknife opening for @thelastdinnerparty at Factory International (Aviva Studios) in Manchester, 26 November 2025.
At times ethereally calm, then engagingly energetic - Imogen's performance seemed a fitting warm-up for the main show.

Yippee for the first timers
this beautiful video i got :)
YES YOURE SO CORRECT
Omg I want to find a video of that
My complaint has gone in š¤š»
Depending on how seriously they take this I might write one about the security there. But I think the water issue is a really important one
I genuinely think they will just say they were legal because they were handing out free water
Wolf alice openers know whats up
Auyyy
Hi! Where are you in the arena?
Block 104
I'm barricade, right hand end of the point
Technically i see you š¤£
It looks like youāre flipping the bird there
Never know, I could have been
That is basically what they've said
Kudos to them getting back to me in 3 hours on a Friday afternoon
Deja vu š (it's a lot quieter tonight!)
Omg i was there too
They were awesome (i cried)
Let me help š

Donāt even, they started the bros intro and i was bawling
My mum was like girlll
Looks like it was filmed with my retina god
Front row, with a Pixel 9 Pro
There was someone at Tldp stood with me who had the most incredible zoom
Like a shot at barricade taken from middle of the crowd
The last couple of iPhones and Pixels have 5x optical zoom
I think it was a pixel or a huwawei, v square edges
Thatās definitely not spelt right
Not a Pixel then
Whatever it was i watched half the show on it
These took me longer than I hoped to get edited (blame Wolf Alice), but the first batch of my photos from the show
