#Disfavoured Artifacts

Meant as the opposite to favouriting items, due to the large variety of artifacts I think it could be useful to not just distinguish between favourite and neutral options but also add a disfavoured option which the player might want to avoid.

I am not quite sure yet what might be the best way to highlight them compared to the pink hearts for favourites, like whether they should have a red cross icon, greying them out could imply other things which might be better to avoid.

This might prove a bit more useful with my other suggestion about favourite sets, so it would be possible to save sets of favourite and disfavoured artifacts and tablets (though when it comes to tablets I feel like they may be seen differently from artifacts, weapons and miracles).

This seems useless but if they were to add it the icon could just be a trash bin

Maybe to someone who is already more accustomed to what each individual artifact does, as a newer player (and as someone whose memory isn't perfect) I keep looking over the descriptions of artifacts which serve no purpose for a specific run or which I may overall avoid more. The distinction between neutral and disfavoured is that the former may still potentially be useful while the latter is better to be avoided, and being able to highlight it similarly to favourites would allow to make the distinction more quickly without having to specifically identify each individual artifact.

Like artifacts of combos already in the inventory might be highlighted, and favourites could be used to priotitize the better ones over the worse ones, but even then I think it would be nice to further separate the disfavoured options.

As I mentioned it would work better in addition to my other suggestion, creating sets, without them it might not be as appealing to add.

Because then you’ll never read it again and probably forget what it does forever

Hence why I am saying it would make more sense in addition to my other suggestion with sets of favourites/disfavourites.

Ig but even then just seems like an inconvenient thing to add

I can see the small purpose this has but I feel like the process of coding something like this would be an inconvenience to the devs and rarely any players would use it even if item sets existed

That's why this is just a suggestion, and sharing it helps to show whether others might agree or also not. I could see myself using it as it would help organizing my thoughts, even without item sets I would probably use it constantly as I already do with favourites, not all QoL features may benefit all players equally as there are probably also for example those who are not making use of favourites at all.
