There has been ongoing submissions to change this cover. However when one exists, the Steam cover art takes priority as an English Worldwide cover. That version needs to change first before any could be accepted.

Obviously, my personal review is that this is ugly, but that's completely irrelevant if they're actively using and it's not that IGDB is not preserving the "good" cover

I mean its weird specifically prioritizing the steam db cover when theres still the physical release switch cover

If you go to your Steam client and see the game on the library, it will show the exact one we have

and since it is the only one being sold digitally, that has the cover art with the closest aspect ratio that we use, provided directly by the developer or publisher, is Steam. Again, there is not much we can do

But, i agree we should be able to store the covers from physical releases in an 'Alternative covers' or something, and that is on their list to do in the future
