Hello! Around two months ago I tried to validate a fighting game known as "Battle Capacity" as I've been wanting to revive the scene for this game and getting it uploaded on IGDB would help start streams on Twitch. However it's been two months since I sent this request and I would really like to speed up the approval for the game if possible.
#Can I get Approval to Upload the game "Battle Capacity"?

Here's proof of the request as well
But to clarify, I know this was during the time the mods were on break and I'm sure they've been flooded with requests to get new games uploaded. So this delay is not surprising and I'm very much understanding of that.
You can speed up the process by request other people to upvote your submission or, if you're the developer of said game, applying for verification status on IGDB
Do those upvotes require users to make accounts?
yes
they just need to log into IGDB with Twitch
and click upvote on the submission
Alright, thank you
Hey, I'm the developer of this game. Is it possible to apply for verification status through Discord or shall I resubmit it through Twitch?
?verified
If you represent a game developer or publisher, you can get your account verified on IGDB. This will drastically improve prioritization towards your changes of your games, as well as access to our Artwork section and a beautiful blue badge, you can apply for verification on IGDB by sending an email to [email protected] with the following:
- Your website. The domain should match the email account that you are sending from.
- Link to your IGDB account. Your IGDB account should be in good standing. (note it has to be your IGDB account, not just your Twitch account).
- Link to one of your game page on IGDB.
- Link to your company page on IGDB.

Alright, verification email sent. Thank you.
btw, @livid basalt tells me Battle Capacity was rejected for being a 'mugen game'?
The game was actually built in 2DFM, like
https://www.igdb.com/games/vanguard-princess
https://www.igdb.com/games/dong-dong-never-die
and
https://www.igdb.com/games/pokemon-close-combat
Some of the sprites were ripped years ago and made their way into some mugen projects if that explains the confusion.
That's right. Here's the notification I received
As I understand it, 2DFM is more like Unity and Unreal but for fighting games correct?
without ongoing support, but yes 👍
Bumping for visibility
No need. We saw that and you will get a reply 👍
Thank you!
Hey, sorry for the misunderstanding, we did some research on this and saw it hosted on multiple MUGEN sites leading to some confusion. After deeper research this should be okay to submit. Please feel free to re-submit and write comment here when you're done, and I'll make sure it gets accepted in. Thanks!
please don't ping admin to get your submission viewed faster.
Apologies, I misunderstood "I'll make sure it gets accepted in."
