Email on contribution status change?

Is there a way to get email notifications when your contribution's status has been updated? I'd love to not feel any compulsion to check the site every other day :p

Needless to say, I've checked the notifications settings and see nothing of the sort. Asking only because it seems like a feature that would exist somewhere.

Interestingly, the first and last boxes are checked for me already with no way to uncheck them. I guess the friend request option should be removed altogether since you can't add people as friends anymore
