Hi, I've had an update pending for my upcoming game Elemental Exiles for about a week (https://www.igdb.com/games/elemental-exiles/). There's a fair bit of new information in the update, but the main thing I'd like prioritized if possible is the proper Cover Art - what's showing at the moment is very old temp cover art from when the steam store page was first launched and I'm hoping to get it updated. It's similar to Hold, but generally it is a request to answer the most recent comment question in the comments section. If there is no reply comment in 7 days, the post will be automatically discarded.

With the queue in it's current time and without an email notification, this is next best option. Before, if reviewers asked a question and didn't hear a response in 24 hrs, we leaned on discarding. This gives a much longer timeframe for infrequent users.

TLDR: It goes away as soon as the next comment is made.

Hello, my old submissions from as far back as August 7 still haven't been accepted. I was trying to make a large list and included stuff for approval that was missing from IGDB. The list is about a reoccurring monthly forum post and under the old submission system (before score based and it being heavily favoured towards new releases) everything would have been approved before the next month though I'm not sure now. Is there any way you could help me expedite these specific ones so I could complete it this month? I do have other submissions also unrelated to the list, but still very old in release date and submission time, that I'm not requesting being expedited.

Hey! Can you provide an example of a change? This new system should be a good representation of the true priority of a change. It should be an improvement of what we had before. Before, we only handled things FIFO (outside of dev/pub requests), this is looking at several factors now.

It’s not made IN SCRATCH! It’s a modern version to use text based coding like Java that’s how online mode works as you can’t do that in normal scratch.

It's not about the quality of your game. We don't accept scratch games in the DB. This has nothing to do with how much time you spent on the game, what features it has, nothing. If you have "loads of twitch streamers" ready to stream, I would recommend having them stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/games-demos.

You may visit gandi ide and see how high quality it is to scratch and is completely different and way better engine with its exstentions etc.

Oh, apologies, I actually played game a lot and as far as I am aware there isn't anything like that in the current game (the only thing that could be similar is like getting different rewards from opening chests, but every second game has random rewards from chests even in web2 space). But if it's listed in the whitepaper I fully understand your view. (They are an US company and the founder is pretty reputable in the fitness space he has like 3M followers, and I am not sure if that's even allowed in the US)

I asked the CEO directly if i missed something, apologies for writing a message while you are actually right. I will wait for him to clarify this, and see if he adjusts the white papper since this can be bad from multiple standpoints. (I am against that personally as well). Additionally, this title in particular appears to use the previous Steam store space of a title already in the database, "Cellumancer". That requires investigation if this is a update to Cellumancer's entry and making it a "Working Title" for GUG, or if it's a wholly overwritten game and require separate page and management. Because thats how I was able to find an escape as a very young / bullied introverted kid.

Gaming, comics and collectables were my escape and I find it very disheartening that my team and I have been working tirelessly for the last 3 years to deliver a gaming / lore experience that I know will being the same kind of joy to future generations and you are being so unwilling to have a conversation with me about a bit of miscommunication.

I’ve amassed over 2.8 million subscribers in YouTube as the OG fitness creator (650,000,000+ views) in the last 13 years because I was always open and honest with my community and focused on educating.

I am bringing that same level of trust to web3 (as it is VERY much needed).

I understand the frustration that you are having but we have been misled by so many web3 projects that we had to make very specific guidelines around them. We linked you those guidelines as well as our content policy. These are not "random links". These are meant to be read and followed.

Someone from the web3 community came to us to submit your game to IGDB. They even promoted themselves as someone who could be trusted to help us navigate the web3 space. We were excited to see their first submission and unfortunately we were once again misled. I don't believe this was intentional on their part but nonetheless it happened. We discovered in your whitepaper that wagering was on the roadmap for your game for December 12, 2024. You then updated your whitepaper that you created to remove that and replaced it with "skill-based competitions". We would love to be able to believe you that this was a simple mistake but unfortunately that trust has been burned by the web3 community with us.

We know that you are wanting to get a Twitch category and there are paths for that. We aren't the end all, be all for twitch categories. You can reach out to twitch support and explain your situation and they can see if your game is something they want on their platform.

I already mentioned this last message but we have made our decision. We have given you a path forward. I'm sorry if that decision and path forward is not satisfying to you but that is our answer. Any other messages around this will be deleted in discord.

Hello, I am aware that validation can take several weeks, I submitted our game once (about 6 weeks ago) and then due to vacation by the time I returned it closed the ticket (not anyone's fault but my own) but I have read over the notes what was missing for it to be listed and believe I have provided everything that was missing on a new submission.

Hello! This may be really late as I just realized the game didn't have one, however I just submitted changes and details regarding the standalone game of Shadow Generations, since it got its advance release today.

I believe this standalone page is important for separate logging/categorizing as the experience is separated on the title screen and treated as part of a bundle with Sonic X Shadow Generations. Bowser's Fury functions and is treated the exact same way with its respective Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury bundle and would thus make sense for Shadow Generations to also have an IGDB page of its own, in a similar manner.
