Hi all, I'm the developer of a game called YOYOZO and I come here via Backloggd and failed correction attempts through the web site https://www.igdb.com/games/yoyozo/changes/2027414

My game has been entered into IGDB as YoYoZo, which I am here to object to 🙂 I don't know where that stylisation comes from, it's the only time I've seen it referred to in that way and it seems to go against the guidelines https://github.com/twitchtv/igdb-contribution-guidelines/wiki/Title. The correct style for the game title, according to me the developer and creator of the font uses in the game, is YOYOZO. Why? The reason is aesthetics: it visually echoes the audible repetition you get when saying the word.

So, what am I asking for here? For YOYOZO to be promoted to the main and only title. Or for the current YoYoZo to be replaced with Yoyozo, which whilst still far less correct to me as the creator than the proper stylisation, but preferable in a pinch to the MiXeD cAsE.

Fun fact: YOYOZO is a word I invented, a portmanteau of the words yo-yo (as in the toy) and yozora (a Japanese word meaning "night sky"). So new I got the hash tag all to myself on social media. Almost a Googlewhack!? Cheers!
