I recently noticed that my payment for the subscription goes to Mistral Inc US.
This is quite remarkable considering that probably a majority of paying users explicitly don't want to use a US service.
Also currently I'm forced to pay by (US-)Credit card, because my bank is not listed for bank transfer, which is also kind of weird, because bank transfers can be issued from any bank.

So how can we solve this? 🙂

Hey man, I will bump this to @night sierra , cos most people in the US who pay Mistral would prefer to give their money directly to the main European HQ, not the US branch.

I'm afraid your lifestyle is more dependent on the US than you seem to think. Not using a credit card anymore won't change that and i dont think you ll influence much international geopolitics that way...

"Solving this" will require more than a feature request to mistral... it ll take 5-10 years of intense work from EU bureaucracy and major banking companies and institutions
