hi, I'm trying to use chat.mistral.ai to help me correcting my python code. Some weeks I'm trying to understand how to ask to have correct "answer". Today, I would like to understand fews things.

Often, I copy/paste my code, and mistral say my code is buggy, give me correct code ... identic to mine. When I asked where are difference, apologize, you're right, code are identical, .... Many times.

tried to ask the same question, very pragmatic, juste correcting a basic error in python function, on many "discussion" : no one time I got the same response. So, is Mistral chat can help us to write/correct code ? Last exemple, and f-string does not replace {the_var} with the value. Mistral give me a great explaination how to ... not replace the_var. I precisly ask the opposite 🤷

If someone can help me to understand how ask correctly ? Is talking to the chat in french is problematic ? I'm using a free accont

# violet osprey hi, I'm trying to use chat.mistral.ai to help me correcting my python code. Some...

Depends on the task but if the code is a bit tricky or complex the model will struggle a lot, it will try to help but it will fail, its important to understand that no llm is perfect they will make mistakes. If you ever get stuck in a loop where the model is just not helpful anymore, try remaking a new chat.

Other times its the prompting that needs to be very clear what you wanna do- still, yeah what was the model you used? And could we have the chat? You can share your chat so we can look at it

I'm not trying to just say "that does not work", because I use a lot Mistral, and I would like to improve my skill, and, if I can help making "bug" report, I do it.
