Input Simulation on dials

I'm new with opendeck, and i do apogilize if my question is dumb. I want to simulate a keypress whenever i turn/press the knob in my akp03, but i can't assign the "input simulation" to the dials... any ideas how to? thnx

input simulation is not supported on dials.

Depending on your OS/Distro there would be the possibility for a script to be called for this case.

thanks for your quick answer. i'm on windows. i will be googling the script option... opendeck is far more versatile and offers more tools than the ajazz software, but using the dials as "keystrokes" is mandatory for what i want to do, so i guess i will most likely have to use the ajazz software... thks again
