Idk if i like monoma hes so hard to play and idek what to do

Uhhh how I do it is formulate a combo of quirks before the match begins based on who’s in the lobby

Pre nerfs I would usually just leave my team and go collect the quirks based on that but post nerfs might be better to stick with your team unless you have rapid Deku gamma

You have to be familiar with all of the cast naturally and the abilities downpower to get max use out of him

Knowing what downs and what doesn’t is crucial to good ability mixing and combo building

If you hit someone with Monoma's Alpha you will copy their Alpha, if you hit someone with Monoma's beta you will copy their beta and if someone hits you while Monoma's gamma is active you will copy their gamma. By pressing your special action you will enter a mode were you can use your copied quirks until your special action drops down to 0% after that you'll be on a cooldown but you'll luckily keep the quirks you copied until you overwrite them by copying new ones. you can only have 1 alpha, beta and gamma at a time so if you hit a Toga with Monoma's Alpha while having Todoroki's alpha as your copied ability you will get Toga's Alpha instead of Todoroki's. You can also copy your teammates entire kit by scanning them.

Monoma’s default alpha is copied giant fist. He will grow his right hand shoot out projectiles that do little damage. If an opponent is hit then you’ll get their alpha

Beta is copied gyro, where he will spin his limbs to shoot him self forward and attack. This is a medium damage attack that will copy the opponent’s beta.

The gamma is copied Steel. He will make his body as hard as steel. If he gets hit, he will take no damage and have I-frames for a short period of time afterwards tho this will also make his gamma drop to 0. Anything that hit him will get that character’s gamma copied.

Special action is simply activating your copied quirks, or scanning a teammate to get their whole kit of quirks (you cannot chose what to copy specifically on a teammate, it’ll always be the whole kit)

As for tips

• Learning the intricacies of the Quirks you Copy is really important for building a good set of Copied Quirks. For example in that video I sent it takes advantage of the fact that Strike Shigaraki can cancel out of his beta with gamma which means Monoma can cancel Strike Shigaraki's beta into ANY gamma

• Make sure the Quirks you're Copying have synergy with each other otherwise you're going to have an underwhelming set of Copied Quirks

• Always always always use Tetsutetsu's Quirk (base Monoma gamma) when you're trying to revive or heal because with that 250 HP he can get schmacked real quick if he gets attacked by surprise. In general it's really good at tanking a hit but keep in mind you'll still get knocked down if you get hit by a grounded One For All Deku alpha for example even if you don't take the damage

One of the highest yeah, like top 5 probably. The main thing that had his skill floor so low was his cooldown resets and the "spammy" playstyle. Now that its heavily nerfed and his survivability got hit, i think its fair to say.
