I got a new tech for the aziawa nerds to somehow find a way to make optimal. Here it is, i call it fast beta. The only usecase i could come up with was to kill a downed person slightly faster when out of alphas but maybe yall can think of smth

What are good special tunings for Aizawa

Here are my thoughts!

Aizawa Specific:

• Embrittlement, Trance Blow: if you can weave melees into your combos (one of Aizawa's BnB is going to be Special, Alpha, Sprint into Standing Melee, Sprint into Gamma)
• Special Action Reload Boost: more aggression or you're in higher-ranked lobbies (more lethal/aggressive, rewarded for sticking close together and focusing single enemies while third partying)
• Kota Finder: great for high mobility picks like Aizawa to power spike entire team's damage early (esp. since Aizawa has Alpha and Beta mobility w/ Special Action to help rotate more safely out of there if you went ahead of team)

Special mentions that are more playstyle dependent that don't hurt on Aizawa:

• Crushing PU Charge: if you're more aggressive and more often than not KO
• HP Sucker, GP Sucker: if you're more aggressive and knock often/can clean fast before third parties or just generally work better than most while being third partied
• Willpower, Revenge Strike: if you're more aggressive and good at 1vX

MnK either needs to time it a lot better or as a quick fix, hold sprint (and mb forward?) while doing the melee follow-up into the gamma. Never had a problem after that, nor do I have the problem on controller/console

I'm not sure if there's anything deeper, but buffering sprint has fixed my issues ez

Don't know why you're trying to frame this as you have to be some super aizawa pro who labs hours of combos to do what I and multiple other people in this channel do. Alpha into alpha slam and gamma into alpha slam are super easy combos that most can do, even taking advantage of someone's wakeup to try hit them as soon as they wake up.

I gatekept the lazy combo that you're literally sacrificing a special tuning slot for.

If you had actually properly labbed the combos you would know that in most cases alpha into alpha slam is in most cases better until your gamma gets to lvl 6-7, which is why you don't see people in this channel clipping their super epic alpha grab melee gamma combos, because they don't really do it.

Aizawa's alpha grab into melee into gamma has never been his bread and butter, just his alpha grab into gamma with a alpha at the end maybe. Also, the fact they don't ask about anything else beyond that leads me to believe they don't really care about anything else, that if they learn that combo its ggs, which with old embrittlement it kinda was since most people it seems don't even seem to know you can roll that on GP.

It can't be a core bnb (no idea what that stands for) combo if it relies on tuning to be effective, and if it's only true on HP.

Again, alpha into alpha slam is not something hard to learn, it just takes actually playing the character and having some muscle memory, which is why I guess it puts some people off since you actually need to learn it.

For your final paragraph:

1. Is this a discussion about how to have max fun on Aizawa now? Is doing that combo again and again really so fun?
2. I find the inference that learning Aizawa's somewhat mid tier combos isn't fun a bit weird.

This is a combo for Aizawa (don’t do the beta if you Don’t have electrification)

Best costume/tuning is

1. Christmas (normal) with monoma special and rapid toga tuning
2. Christmas (heat) with embrittlement and electrification or trance blow
3. Kung fu (normal) with electrification and rapid toga tuning
4. Casual (normal) embrittlement and rapid toga
   (I’m saying embrittlement and rapid toga a lot because these are alternative just in case you don’t have a specific skin)
   The one I recommend the most is Christmas (normal) or (kung fu) normal. Only use Christmas normal if you have monoma if not then use anything that can be put ten embrittlement

I feel that electrification is great for crowd control 1v3 situations that normally would have two people beaming you while you combo someone.

Aizawa is more or less of a burst dmg character in 3v1 situations meaning he is just going to do crazy dmg then dip because he doesn’t get any iframes or super armor while hitting combos so it’s preferable to only go for one person. Although you can still use electrification to stun more than 1 person but it will take much more effort to do combos and it’s more reliable to have your team with you while they shoot at person that’s stunned

Not really, there are two ways to do it

1. You grab then do 1 melee (miss on purpose) then pull them in and do the second part of the melee (the other kick) and then you just wait a lil bit and it will reset your melee chain
2. Alpha grab -> melee to the left or right(miss) -> look back at your opponent and melee (the second chain) -> wait a lil bit then melee again

Now monoma tuning wouldn’t be that good with something that doesn’t have 3/5 of the same color

Notice how your costume has only 2 reds ? That won’t be as much of good dmg then using it on something that has the same color multiple times

Also you'd be surprised how long max level perception currently lasts, people can disengage, heal up, and you can still see them for probably like 10s after they are fully healed, it's just long term info. I do think the tuning is very underrated but do understand that it's definitely not the best and I made the decision mostly cause afaik it's the costume that can achieve the highest raw damage with how tunings are currently
