You can but it doesn't work quite like that.
Beta, melee, melee, alpha is all you can get because if you go for gamma it will harf knockdown early. So while you get a extra 20 dmg if you plan to omly back up with alphas your basically telling the opponent that your not going for gamma at all. Sometimes the threat of a gamma at the end is more useful than the 20 dmg from melee

Tbf there are times where a triple stomp might be necessary, if I catch more than 2 people in my stomp its kinda just not a good idea to go for combos on a single person so I just knock them onto their rear ends. At least with 2 people you can quickly go between the 2 with less risk especially with speed cards you can nearly guarantee them being pretty much locked down by alternating between them with melee/movement cancelling.

fit your 2 gammas in there perfectly and you got them on the run

Only time I find it acceptable like they said above, if multiple people are in the hit, then finish with a triple and knock them back, or the other thing is if there is someone on another side of a wall. Other than that just beta and go into some combos

the big thing to remember when you triple stomp is that you are giving up your best combo starter and your only reversal to get a knockdown on whatever is in the circle, it’s almost never worth it

there are alternatives for knocking down groups of people

the simplest one is to just do 2 betas and land alphas on the characters you know you want to knock down

Triple stomp is neccesarry when you are surrounded and need to escape.

I generally don't think triple stomp is worth it, only if you're just really desperate for quick damage without expecting them to live afterwards. Like as much as I enjoyed this season 6 win I feel that I was really lucky lol.

Try to get level 4 Beta before getting into fights, level 2 Alpha gets an extra charge which can be useful if you have enough levels. Never triple stomp, it leaves you really vulnerable. Recommend maxing Beta then Alpha, though if you want an extra second faster recharge on the Gamma go for level 4 on it at least.

it's the opposite when it depletes completely it goes back faster according to when I did testing. with afo tuning if you kd someone in big it will continue to replenish when you shrink as well. with the pur version of afo you have 100% uptime on big.

gp sucker + afo tuning has yielded really good results for me atleast, I do prefer embrittle for small form damage

I think you can even throw another alpha before the gamma, don’t remember though but I never really go for melee as my combo starter
