I find this to be the case for me as well, for most games anyway, i think its cause of the joysticks allowing different speeds of movement as well as easier and more fine tuned rotation in some cases

thats happened to me, sometimes his beta just doesnt register hitting the ground so he slides across it, sent me straight into storm once and got stuck there and died one match

Personally I think he's fun but I definitely got some things to work on like aiming alpha and beta better

But the lack of our revenge tuning is going to make it a little bit underpowered compared to some builds with revenge support or assault

It's like top 3 tunings on him

His playstyle seems pretty niche for ratting and 3rd parties. Strong for sure, and annoying to deal with, but not ideal for people who like to play fast-paced and aggressive. He's pretty slow compared to most recent releases. Slow with fighting, slow with everything pretty much.

His beta is good mobility though, but expensive since you only have 2 and if you use it to fight, you can't use it to get away instantly, with that being his only mobile option in his kit. (Special too but that alone won't get you far lol)

He's not got many useful combos for people to play around with, and landing Special offensively or melees are pretty much not gonna happen most of the time with him, so melee tunes are kinda wasteful.

He's also not great against agile fliers who are aware of his presence because those alphas won't really be hitting anyone who can see him.

Idk if anyone else has run into it yet but Tech shigi's have just been beta'ing out of red Shigi Gamma for me

so its just strike hawks 2.0

Once the hype dies down I can see Tech Shig not being that meta. Maybe sub-meta

And the Revenge tunings working stupidly well on him is part of the fun

Once they add a cooldown to them probably gonna switch over to Quirk Factor Release and Wall Runner
