I do that almost everytime I'm in a fight tbh, I don't like standing in one place at all, and it throws off enemy aim so why wouldn't I do it a lot?
I just have high enough sens that I don't have an issue flipping sideways and still having my alpha hit the enemy when I turn the camera back.
It's something I briefly demonstrated in one of my guides.

But if Strike Shiggy kills any Dabi with his Gamma, Dabi will be in a weird pseudo-armor state where he can't get stunned unless if the move is a grab, does hard-knockdown, or is one of the select few moves that bypasses it (Strike Shiggy Alpha being one of them).

So in short, if you kill a Dabi with your Gamma, spam alphas or Gamma them until they get KO'd. Because none of your other moves will prevent his Special Action from being used

So kinda depends on playstyle and preference but I think that covers the most common ones

you learn how shigi's think and counter their plays, becomes enjoyable, but is getting harder to do cause there are less good red shigi's these days

Its just become second instinct to predict shigi moves, though i dont get to do it often as not many even use his combat movement anymore

There was one JP player last season who did play correctly, with a very nice combat style build

he would have sweeped the Lobby as well, its just i knew where he was going through a couple walls cause i just went to where i would have gone

but yea, Shigi moves are easy to counter, Alpha can be countered by air special into air alpha, or just air alphas, Beta can be countered by some stacked alphas, or a special if your fast enough, Gamma is countered by air specials

Special is just, kinda something you either roll or choose to trade

I like to emphasise unpredictability when I fight, so I do things without a pattern that can be easily read.
If I think someone is able to tell what I'm doing though, I'll just switch up my gameplay and take an entirely different approach anyway.

And when I try to escape a fight I often go where people expect me to go, but don't actually.
I make it seem obvious where I head so I know where they're going to go to try and look for me, but juke the heck out of em.

I almost won a 1v2 against level 9 strike shiggy and level 9 tech dabi as level 1 strike shiggy, MU is really whoever strikes first or evades more. the best ways you can evade is having space hop, or using rolls or backflip alpha effectively, play in buildings if they aren't etc.

depends on the character, if your using anyone with projectiles, shoot them

If your using a Non spacehop red shigi, counter their moves, and then chase them, they underestimate non spacehop shigi movement, its amusing watching them think they got away just to re jump them

You can easily catch the landings of Space Hop Shigs with stacked alphas most of the time lol

Use it with wallrunner to cut off any escape paths use it to stall your cooldowns whenever you can plus it's great to do space hop > alpha cancel into grab

In layman's terms:
Shiggy jumped as he got slapped, so he went weeeee into a grab.

Doesn't always happen though

Space Hop and Wall Runner is one of the best tuning builds for him for sure, but I'll never say it's mandatory for everyone to use.

Especially since I see a lot of people running that buid nowadays and uh... yeah the majority of people have no thought-out control of that kind of movement at all.

Omd its no longer safe to play shiggy when OFA Deku drops

his movement is too cracked too keep up

He has a built in space hop + spiralling leap sa, a betta Ida Gamma for gamma which also lets him dash and do a lock on dash plus a Beta which legit lets him teleport to the max sky height and drop down better than assault kiri gamma or rapid am gamma

and if thats not enough he gets an extra dash if you just use beta nomrlly 💀
