the only other skillset I care about at all is tech denki, but ngl I'm tempted to just pity a skillset I already have for the hero souls

I've heard that electrificaiton is good on assault kiri but I'm not really dead set on it tbh - tho it's not like embrittlement is super useful on kiri either lmao
like SOMETIMES I land melees on living players, but it's rare so it'd only ever proc on downed players
which ig would be value in itself but just. feels like there are better things to be doing with a special slot

Yeah the difference between assault and red drive is that he's faster and takes slightly more aim then his counter part so your gonna have to react quicker then usual

And some times bait people into a beta

One of the best things if not the best thing in his kit is his gamma 9 times out of 10 he's not being knocked out of it so it's really a good move

I recommend you lvlng up your alpha and gamma first

Beta is so good it barley needs lvlng up

But you can always find your own way to play red drive I'm just telling you how I play

honestly I'm def figuring out the playstyle that I enjoy by experimenting and figuring out what I like - you're right that beta is great at level 1, so other level paths could probably be more useful to try out
in general you're right that he's FAST and I love being fast, ig having to overcompensate for assault kiri has made me ready to be speedy when given the chance
so far my favourite move is to use my alpha to strafe around people and then gamma them from an angle they aren't expecting, ik his combos are gnarly but I love just being a menace who's imposssibel to track

Alright so from the list I got, and what I think would be very solid I for both red and yellow, I’d go this fit

-for the last red slot I’d put personally a gamma attack, since you unfortunately don’t have a blue slot passive for rapidgo but it’s not the end of the world
-For the top left I’d do my best to get rapid toga or twice on there
Then for the yellow try to stack one thing, and go hp attack power 4 will add up very nicely

This build everything is working with you, you have 5 passives doing damage (overhual and tech Denki for the non red), and 4 defense passives will add up especially for Kiri. The one downside for passives is the blue villain, that one is just there to be a jerk

Wall runner is amazing for both red kiri specifically a good way to conserve alpha, and having card dupe or GP sucker is amazing. Plus the fact the bottom 3 reds are hero specific means they will be even better this is the build I’d run for both it is almost perfect just wish that blue villain slot was blue hero lol

Biggest tip again why probably a lot of people struggle is don’t use your index when holding alpha, understand that the reason why half of Kiri’s tech works is because alpha us cancelable into every move before slash

As long as you have something on the right trigger or whatever your alpha button is, press and hold beta you go into beta and can thus glide

Ok so i mained hawks for like 2 seasons now but recently my red Kirishima is going crazy

Ive had 2 games in the past week where ive clutched (i so close to actually winning the second game 😭)

But the first game, i single handedly survived again 12 other players in final zone before it shrunk to nothing

I won a 1v3 at the end against a compress mirio (i had already koed once before) and tech denki as zone was closing

I think the game is calling to me to main red kiri insted of hawks

I cliped it and at the start i had 2 kos and 1.7k damage and at the end had 10kos and 7k damage

That was my best game ive ever had and i started playing just before hawks came out

2. Your special action can tank 3 shots from her alpha before getting knocked you won’t stutter, you can alpha directly in her face if you wanted to
3. Your super armor from gamma can tank 3 shots from momo’s alpha before getting knocked, just as long as she doesn’t time the small period between throws to hit you that is a very viable method Chuck a rock in her face
4. If it comes down to it play ranged what she gonna do, shoot you

Ultimately I think the best tool in a lot of 1V1’s is your super armor gamma

It gives unneeded buffs to characters that were nerfed for reasons

Example, Red deku lost 2 damage on his alpha but tuning can give him just more damage so therefore the nerf was useless

like yeah, HYPOTHETICALLY I believe I could hit expert or even ace with only assault kiri
but like... I'd probably need dedicated quality teammated in vc, and a team comp that supports assault kiri, and I'd have to change my playstyle to seriousl prioritize KOs, and I just-

Thats also his best fit btw. I would recommend card duplication over gp suck for a few reasons.
1, red kiri is very level reliant. Getting to beta 9 and alpha 9 does a good amount for you and playing without gamma levels os terrible
2, you can level ypur teamates which is especially potent for a strike since your often having to share red cards thar your team finds so card dupe helps make up thay difference.
3, it can emulate the effects of gp sucker in a super busted way by simply finding a few green cards and placing levels into them so instead of having a 110 gp heal with conditions you can have double green cards (20 per sec when combined) to heal zone and have them on a whim not requiring a kill to get.

Gp sucker is simpler to use but card duplication is insanely useful too so the choice is yours.

Wall run is another good rapid tune option but red kiri doesn't really make that good use of it so overall stick to the villian options

the reason why i go for a second skin (festival happi) is to do even more dmg

and i could also play this with yellow kiri for wallrunner

compared to my current skin i can do 20 dmg more with gammas with the festival

First off theres rev strike of course and 2nd is that you need 3 gamma tunes to reach 125 dmg on gp which is massive since against air targets gamma gamma is true

So instead of needing 3 rocks to break gp and then throwing a 4th to hit hp you only need 2 rocks to break gp and then you can end them if they are high up in the air

unfortunately aim assist is different than tracking, tracking is always enabled

aim assist is only on controllers, and it drags your crosshair around to follow your target

tracking is when your character ignores your crosshair to try and track a player nearby

okay so I went and did some testing: they did not change the tracking on assault kiri's alpha as far as I can tell, but I'm PRETTY confident they changed the hitbox

here's an old clip from when I was doing alpha testing a few months ago, comparing it between gp and hp knockback, you see how easily I just whiff past denki if I get ahead of him at all

vs testing it just now... assault kiri officially has three wacky hitboxes

so basically now on keyboard it goes

• at level 1 range, you land your entire alpha without worrying about it at all
• at level 4 range, if you start it point blank then you might drop the alpha by the end, otherwise it works fine
• at level 9 range, you do start getting a serious chance of dropping it, but even minimal strafing basically counteracts it

I assume this is just a change to the hitbox, since kiri seems to behave the same way that he used to, it's just that you don't immediately drop someone the moment you pass in front of them

Something to note my experience with yellow Kiri and the stupidity of the people I faced I learned that by far the players that recover in the air the most are rapids, and the ones that do it he least are All for one (not that they don’t I just killed an all for shinso with a gamma, and 3 whole betas in a row because because he kept recovering)

Like this last match ended when I was fighting uravity at the top of UA, suprised her with a wall run gamma, and going off the edge she air recovers, I beta, and in storm she air recovers AGAIN and I beta like she lands all the way to the street right in front of the mall lmao

I do love that fact btw when I punch someone that high up and they fall alllllll the way across the map and likey into storm it’s peak dopamine low key let me clip the beauty
