I usually use it when I’m out of gammas or when aizawa is using his special action so I roll over to him to stun him that way

I feel like I’m not using it efficiently tho

It can also be used for Denkis ToD

Hawks using his beta, special action and dodge.
L-ida using his alpha, special action and dodge.
Twice wants to gamma spam, activate the special action
When fighting Rapid toga activate your special action she'll eventually gamma to take your blood, if you dodge she gets stunned, if you don't she still gets stunned

So, just like that, I'm not going to lie to you, Denki's purple upgrade doesn't make him any better.

The beta loses 10 damage for a re-roll reduction that's completely unnoticeable.

I don't feel the speed of his beta either. He always hits almost 1 second after detecting an enemy, so he can still attack us before being stunned.

The alpha can hit with all his hits, which is great for finishing off opponents, but damage-wise, it doesn't change anything. You have to be literally in close combat with the opponent to hit with all 3 alphas (and the auto-attack does more damage).

Combos are still limited to barely a shieldbreak.

The basic alpha still has poor range.

On the other hand, yes...the alpha in aim mode is faster... But given the alpha's re-roll time, it's still mid-range and just annoying in a fight without being deadly.

His main problems for me were:

• Too long a re-launch time for the gamma/beta/alpha (at level 9, using everything, you're good for 3 seconds without any attacks. Look for a character who can go that long without being able to do anything at level 9...)

• The alpha's range and damage (the range is still the worst in the game, and his alpha can certainly hit with all his hits, but the opponent will just fall to the ground faster, so I don't know if it's beneficial, and... honestly, who plays Purple Denki in melee?

• Too long a recharge time for his alpha in aim mode (which has been increased this time!)

Overall, an increase in the speed of the targeted alpha in exchange for a 10-degree nerf on someone who doesn't normally scare anyone.

I don't really understand how he's a threat up close. Whether he hits with 1, 2, or 3 alphas, he'll always fall and take 250 damage.

So, if you hit him the first time with 3 alphas, the opponent will fall to the ground at least once after the next hit (and an alpha deals less damage than an auto-attack).

His targeted alpha is faster, yes, it's true; it remains to be seen if this creates real pressure against opponents like Midoriya/All Might/Red Kirishima/Hawks/Shoto, knowing that to be fast, this is equivalent to -39 damage.

His beta still doesn't prevent an opponent rushing at you from hitting you (Iida's alpha, Red Dabi's beta, Kirishima's alpha, etc.). They are therefore stunned when you fall to the ground (while Purple Dabi, at least, also knocks the opponent down).

However, yes, his buff allows him to be more annoying as a sniper and to finish off a downed opponent more easily.

But is it enough to make the character interesting once he reaches expert rank and above?

Until now, he was so useless that we could simply ignore him and focus on tougher opponents.

i usually just go for gamma, beta , alpha then beta does like 270-300 damage depending on your levels

If you have revenge rapid activated, with two speeds cards and his special action active of course, you can lock on within like half to 1 second for 3 hits of his alpha

so the player basically have 3 speed cards activated

The beta must be thrown from far and the first part(the 10 damage disc) must hit before you do gamma, the beta animation must be completed first hence why it only works from far

Pros:
The gamma doesn't have startup so you easily zoom off

Cons:
Gamma doesn't stun anymore
And you must throw the beta first

You can use space hop to jump in the air and do the tech, makes it very easy to land

Double-Gamma-tech

This one how it works is that when the last gamma explosion tick hits an enemy you must immediately press gamma again, timing is key for this one.

Pros:
The gamma tracking goes insanely high and will track to the closest enemy to you, no matter how far(that is if you don't manually control it ofc)
The gamma start up animation is also absent
Gamma will still do the explosion

Cons:
Gamma explosion damage doesn't increase unfortunately
The gamma also doesn't stun
You have to hit the explosion on someone before you can start using the tech

Im on the fence about whether tech denki s better than strike denki. I feel like if you can hit the up close autos for 127 then yeah its probably better because you beat strike denki at long range---> to close range. Where as Strike denki is better medium to close.

But honestly the fact that you respawn with your levels in tact is really really good for strike denki. Strike denki has this problem in certain lobbies when he ends up just dead rotating in on the early circles. So respawning with full levels later in the game when the circle is smaller is a huge plus.

I need to test tech denki more too, because when i last tried him you only got the full damage at like point blank range which is like

It really just depends on the mode tbh. If you're ranking and you want to be as aggressive as possible in order to get good points then Id say strike> tech

But if your doing something like a tournaments where placement is preferred then yeah take long----> to close which tech denki excels at.

Beta is really specific to able to use the maximum dmg

Tech Denki pros and cons

Pros:
Sniper god
Can easily defeat
Beta is a great trap measure
Decent mobility
Great with short and long range combat

Cons:
Can do as much dmg as stirke denki but you need setup
Sniping is hard if there isn't a high ground
Alpha without aim has small range
Is not the best with mid range combat

Even with these Pros and cons these Denkis are equally good no matter what

Tips:

• Three short range alphas are enough to stun somebody
• Beta has really good tracking and highlights enemies briefly
• Beta has the potential to block projectiles, so either put at ur feet when sniping, looting or to defend urself
• Gamma can be held for a extra dash
• Gamming through someone stuns them
• Special Action makes his lock on faster
• Blue cards speed up the lock on too by a tad bit

Level Order (Personally)

• Gamma > 4
• Alpha > 9
• Beta > 9
• Gamma > 9

Techs:

• You can gamma and combo into either 2 betas, 1 beta and multiple alphas
• You can do land a combo in the air with 2 betas and gamming into the enemy
• It's a bit of a harder, unconventional trick. But you can gamma, do the initial burst and continue to gamma once more right after

Bet here's everything you need to know

Level up order(my personal preference)
Alpha>4, gamma>4, beta>4, alpha>9, depending on your playstyle either go gamma>9 first or Beta>9 first then the other second

Tuning:
Space hop is very recommended, however not everyone likes that playstyle so you can use wall runner instead
"the second tuning is kinda irrelevant depending on the costume"

Combos
Beta, gamma - does decent damage

Beta, lock-on alpha, beta, alpha X5 - also does decent damage but uses a bit more resources

Gamma, miss the explosion, beta, alpha X3, beta again then alphax2 or gamma(pick which one you want to use) - his most damaging inflicting combo

Gameplay tips -
Holding his alpha let's him use his lock-on, which is a allows him to shoot tracking bullets at 3 people at once

Use special action to increase the lock on speed

Do NOT go for a lock on snipe on the frontline of a fight, instead position yourself on high ground or all the way in the back to support your teammates

His beta is a disc that tracks enemies that enter into its range but you can use it offensively as it causes stagger

His gamma is a dash that if you hold it gives you 2 dashes, hitting an enemy while dashing and holding the dash button will give you 2 more dashes (the speed and damage also increases too) so you can keep infinitely going as long as there's an enemy to hit

And tech Denki can trigger space hop while moving too

So spiraling leap is kinda not necessary
