#Gamepass issues - Bought, can’t play online

So, as the title suggests, I bought gamepass essential not long ago. Earlier today, actually. It was a shock to me to realize that I couldn’t play Titanfall 2 online, even though I own the game digitally. I tried restarting my xbox, tried everything I could think of, but I still can’t play it online. I checked the Microsoft store again and it does say that Essential includes online play. How can I resolve this?

Oh and there’s no error code it just says “this account is not permitted to play online” ingame

nevermind apparently it was installed but it wasn’t installed on my xbox so i installed it a second time and it like works now but it was weird because it’s downloaded twice

i could open the game but it wasn’t marked as downloaded when i went to manage the game

The campaign/tutorial might have been downloaded but multiplayer wasn’t.
