Title. As absurd as this sounds, I got a Cyberpunk 2077 disc for Xbox One. I have a Xbox Series X, and was told online it’d work out. So I insert Disc 1, and my console makes a loud buzzing sound and then doesn’t start the installation, upon further tries, the disc drive made a ton of sound, then the disc quickly came out of the disc drive and fell out, being at a lower position than when I inserted it. I then tried inserting disc 2, which simply told me I need to try disc 1 first. What on earth is happening?

try a different disc game, if the same thing happens then your disc drive is failing.

Its just Cyberpunk. For some reason.

#

That humming is my computer, not Xbox, by the way

the video just shows you inserting the disc then pressing the eject button with a grinding sound, The grinding sound could be the disc drive failing but if it loads the game i wouldnt worry to much

Thats the problem. It doesn’t load the game

#

It just sits in there, and makes that grinding sound repeatedly, for only this disc

then you may have too replace the disc

Figured out the problem kinda

#

Theres a foam layer on the outside of the disk drive and the disc isn’t actually going all the way in
