Hi, i would like to play at elden ring : nightreign with my friends but they are on xbox and I am on pc, so i would like to know, if i buy the game on the app xbox and install it on pc, can I play with my friends or because I am on pc I can't ?

No. Play Anywhere just means you only have to buy one copy of the game to play on PC or XBox. It doesn't magically make the game cross play capable.

Xbox Play Anywhere may allow cross-save and cross-play, but... this game isn't even listed as Play Anywhere, or even for Xbox on PC.
Not all games have Play Everywhere.
Keep this in mind when choosing to buy a game that you want to play on multiple platforms.
