#How on earth do I connect speakers to Xbox???

Recently bought new speakers, but whenever I use the jack to plug them in it makes a static sound and when I try go on YouTube it doesn’t play audio either, so, question 1: how do I change my audio output to speakers- and question 2; how do I stop the static??

Google says the cords could be loose but idk how to fit them in more as they go in as much as possible

You plug the speakers into the audio jack with a 3.5mm audio cable
