I'm still unsure how to fix this? whenever I record something funny within a discord call or game chat the clips never gain the audio with it and I've watched several YouTube videos and it just feels like I'm playing with me settings just for it not to work. does anyone know how to fix this or is this just an Xbox thing they need to fix on their behalf?

I've already went to settings and allowed passthrough like some videos have mentioned, I've changed the setting for "Speaker", "Headset", and "Speaker/headset" as well and it still doesn't pick up my audio, almost two months ago my audio was fine until it randomly didn't pick back up
If you want to record other people's voices you need to use an external capture card.
what is that and how do I get it?
an "External capture card" is a thing you connect to your computer. you get it from a store like amazon.
then you use software like OBS to record and stream
all that just to get game chat audio on Xbox?
and is there anything else I could do since i don't own a computer?
xboxes do not stream other people's voices
you need an additional device to do it.
