If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

As long as you know the username nad password to the account you should be able to log in.

Once logged I would highly recommend changing the email address on the account to one that you do have access to.

To switch the gamertags around between the two accounts you will need to pay for two changes.

The first change on the account that has the tag you want, setting that to a different name. Once that's done, the name will be made available for use so you can set that on your other account.

No, because accounts are not deleted immediately and you need to go through a formal account closure process.
