So my parents are going to get me an Xbox Series X, or S if I choose so, and I have an old 360 I could try too, in exchange for me to stop playing games on my PC (yes, I do have issues staying on task while studying), and I was trying to find out if I could play PC games on an Xbox. I can use a keyboard and mouse or controllers, whatever works. I'm interested in Steam games, Foxhole, Battlebit, Java Minecraft and Roblox games without Xbox support, but those are just specifics if there are any hacks for those exact games, really if there's any way to play Steam games or just PC games in general on an Xbox, I'll take an answer.
I looked at some sites, which told me I could use the Xbox app on PC and steam games to my Xbox to play, or use NVIDIA GeForce Now on the Microsoft Edge Browser to play PC games, but I just don't fully trust these sites, and all videos and sites weren't recently uploaded, so I came here.

TLDR: Trying to find out how to play PC games on Xbox, keyboard-mouse or controllers, any variant of Xbox is fine, really just looking for Steam games or any PC games I can get, crossplatform would be nicer, but eh, beggars can't be choosers. Saw some sites that gave a few responses, but didn't know if they were real or not.

Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.

If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.

In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:

  1. What is your issue?

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.

Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.

The edge browser on the Xbox is not quite the same as the desktop. I expect it wouldn’t be a great experience

GeForce Now isn’t officially supported but some people have reported success with it. No guarantees it will work consistently into the future though.

🚨 12. Certain topics are not appropriate for discussion, such as: game sharing outside of your household, self-repair and disassembly of hardware, piracy, emulation, violating Xbox policies or Terms of Service, explicit material, not-safe-for-work topics, discussion of leaks, and questionable or illegal activities. Other topics are subject to moderator discretion.

NOTE: Even though Xbox is offering controller repair kits for sale now, self-repair discussion in this server beyond linking to said kits is still not allowed. Self-repair requires a moderate level of skill and knowledge to do and any errors in doing self-repair can result in damage that is not covered under any warranty. If you have questions that are not answered by the guides linked off the controller parts pages in the store, you likely do not posses the skills or knowledge for performing the self-repair and should seek out a repair shop to perform your repair.
