Does the monitors support 120fps via hdmi. Ur monitors probably have dp support 4 120fps on pc
Yes I am using 3 of the exact same monitor and two of them are connected to my pc with 120 fps one with HDMI and one with DP
Are you playing a game that supports 120Hz? I'm pretty sure it will only output 60Hz unless you're playing a supported game (I may be mistaken)
yes ive been playing some games that support 120fps but I am not getting 120fps
my apex tried to go above 60 but for some reason it doesnt work
Did turn on fps boost in those games?
I dont see an option
where would that be
@modern pecan
none of the games I just tried has that option
Is it the fact that your selecting 120 in game but you do not feel like your geting that or do you not have the option to set 120 when you should?
also
I found that via google when searching for does Apex support 120 looks like it doesnt so why do you think it should work?
Have you gone to the video settings page and clicked the “tv capabilities” button to see exactly what your Xbox thinks it is connected to?
I did try ark tooo
Where’s that
also again why do you think Ark should be 120 google again supports the theory it isnt https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2020/11/20/inside-xbox-series-xs-optimized-ark-survival-evolved/

One of the biggest benefits of all that power is giving developers the ability to make games that are Xbox Series X|S Optimized. This means that they’ve taken full advantage of the unique capabilities of Xbox Series X|S, both for new titles built natively using the Xbox Series X|S development environment as well as previously […]
Yeah u could get 120fps on pc if ur pc supports it. But console version usually set at whatever fps the developer sets it to not if ur console could run it
Settings on the Xbox same place where you pick resolution and calibration and stuff
I run basically every game on pc same fps same monitor and hdmi so there is no excuse
Have you checked the settings to see what your Xbox thinks it is connected to yet?
okay but your Series S/X is not your PC so there is an excuse. A console is a closed Eco system the specs are the same for the console. On PC that is a open eco system the parts can be upgraded for better parts to run the game better.
non of the games you mentioned ie Ark and Apex support 120 FPS on xbox Series S/X so your not going to be runing those games at 120FPS.
fym? my monitor and controller, what else.
nevermind forget it ill ask my uncle who will have helpful input since he has the same sysyem
The same thing I asked twice before, but okay
I'm not sitting at my xbox right now but it should have been pretty easy to find the page I wanted you to go to based on the breadcrumbs I left
we will see what he says if I cant figure it out ill find some help here
