My friend is also having this issue and it’s also all over Reddit. It definitely seems like an issue on MSs side. My friend did a full reset on his Xbox and still hasn’t fixed it. I’d say report it to Xbox support. The more people do it the higher priority it will be

Yep currently having same problem as you guys. Started the other day when fortnite needed an update and it would t update at all. Cancelled it now can’t even re install. All my games that need updates say “installation suspended” on the queue

go and to settings and hit go offline and go online and when that stops working swap to a diffetent network and repeat the process until the update finishes

Let me list everything ive done troubleshooting wise

Hard Reset my xbox, Factory Reser my xbox, Endless power cycleing, Reset my router, Swapped between Wireless, Wired,and mobile hotspot, Cleared my Alternate mac address, Checked my nat type to make sure it is open, Had my xbox unplugged for a few minutes, Talked to a Xbox reps who after sharing all of this pretty much told me, "We dont know what to do good luck."

If you hard reset your console and choose to 'keep everything' your downloads will work for about the first 15 mins of that reset cycle

#

So you can squeexe a couple updates out if needed, whats I did yesterday

It's getting cold now. Ever since I tried to buy dishonered my life has gone down the drain. I look at the Xbox one queue and I hunger. It seems like almost two days ago when I was downloading Destiny two without a care in the world. The situation is getting dire. I'm famished, cold, alone and even Xbox support left me. I pray day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute for my perils to be solved but alas the drought continues.

Xbox's twitter account is not obligated to post the status of every investigation that is going on.
Complaining on Twitter that 'xbox is alelrgic to listening' is not effective.
The same complaints here on an enthusiast chat server are going to be even less effective.

A few of us spend half our time in the troubleshooting forums and like to be able to help people. It becomes hard when threads are being used as chat rooms, becuase we end up spending time discovering that no additional troubleshooting is necessary / no new steps have been tried / etc.

here's a bandaid fix

swap between ur 2g network and 5g network if you have it

alternate between each one back and forth as they lag out and stop the installation

#

for example. ur on 5g and installation stops go to 2g and swap back to 5g when installation stops
