Controller flashes twice when turning on, then shuts off | XBOX | Page 1

I don’t suppose anyone can help? When I try to turn on my controller it beeps/flashes two times and then turns back off, I’ve tried plugging it in and doing it that way, as well as putting in new batteries. Anyone any idea?

Turn off your console by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

Assuming your controller is trying to connect to a console and not a PC, it should, yes
