Fortnite is so bugged on cloud. Every time when I launch the game it shows up as fresh new. That means I have to set up screen size again, and skip all the intro videos. Also I can't change screen size or button layout when playing on mobile.

Is it a common issue that old Xbox 360 titles run poorly through Xbox Cloud Gaming? I tried playing Fable 2 with it and the performance was horrible (1-2 second input lag, 720p or worse quality, constant freezing whilst trying to launch the game).

Huh, anyone with a Galaxy S22 (Exynos) using xCloud lately?
Somehow my device has started to have extremely inconsistent frame-pacing. Like, the game is still completely playable, and there is virtually no discernible input lag. But moving the camera around in a 3D game, or having a character jump in a 2D game, I see a lot of jerkiness to it that wasn't there before.

I've tried restarting the device, all sort of Samsung's game booster settings, 5GHz WiFi versus 5G and 4G cellular...

And this works absolutely smooth when playing on a Surface tablet, same WiFi network

It's also happening with Stadia, which wasn't the case before either :/

There are both Exynos and Snapdragon versions, yes.
But sometimes software updates in one or another may bring in potential issues. Thus why I'm specifying the Exynos version in this case. I didn't have that performance issue before.

Well just to be overly particular… using a VPN itself isn’t against the tos. But using a VPN to make it look like you are coming from a different region is what violates it.

(I always use a VPN when I’m at a hotel because I dont trust the wifi providers to not be trying to look at my data)

Xcloud streams in HD if your internet supports it. If your internet connection is slow, you're gonna have less quality.
And if your internet connection is laggy / high latency, then the controller response times are gonna be bad.

Every game that is available on Cloud is available as part of game pass for local install.
448 of the 500 games are console games, 420 of hte games are PC games.
So the odds are that the game you want to play is available on the PC.

that might be issue with their backend, if not, make sure your display refresh rate is set to match the framerate performance you've chosen for that game. Ex: if you choose "performance mode" (60fps for cloud gaming) for certain titles, choose 60Hz for your display (not just TV/monitors, but some mobile phones also have different refresh rate modes, like Pixel 6).

I am trying to play remote. NHL 20, to be precise. For some reason, the game/console thinks I have 2 controllers connected when I only have one...and the active controller is not the one that should be. The game shows a red and a blue controller, and the only active one should be the red one. But the console, through remote gaming, sees the blue one. I can't change controllers; I can't advance the game; I can't do anything because the console thinks I have a controller active that isn't even connected. If I connect a second controller, I actually get a third option - a green one. But the game won't switch to the active controller no matter what buttons I press. Rebooting the console works less than 25% of the time. Is there a setting or something I can do to stop this from happening and get the correct active controller?
