I did that and got banned on Halo Infinite (which is what I was using it for), thankfully got unbanned for some reason after a couple mins while randomly waiting in the lobby. Don't use this stuff

I don’t have a console at all so I’m having to resort to cloud gaming for now. Google Stadia doesn’t heat my phone up at all but Xbox does. Xcloud don't take that much wifi for me cuz Xcloud is not available here so I use VPN that is why my stream quality is random when I use other cloud gaming platform with no vpn the per hour is a lot like 2-3gb. You can try downloading My data manager app so you can monitor your apps that use internet you can filter it per hr/dy/wk/mh.

It works exceptionally well. I use my Stadia controller wired and I don't feel any latency at all.

Hey guys, I have a question. So I have game pass ultimate, and I have downloaded and played FH5. I was wondering if the cloud play is available for FH5. If it is, is their any way to play it on the cloud without deleting it? Or do you just delete it and you can play it on the cloud?

I have the basic version downloaded. So, the standard version is available for cloud play, but if I click on that will I lose my progress?

Your progress in games is saved as part of your Xbox profile in the cloud. Playing a game on any console or the cloud will have the same progress.

@andyricflair Yes, Azure helps. One of the reasons we push for cross save, don't want players to have to decide which version of a Cloud game they play unless they want to. Progress needs to just move with your account, same with community. But PC games will come, focused on console games now.

My biggest disappointment with cloud is that, and this is not dig at xbox, in my case, my pc burned out after 11 years, my console went defective and of course the warranty was out, life has kicked in and honestly made it impossible to replace a computer or a console.

Now I'm grateful for xbox gamepass cloud gaming because you would say you have a mighty heavy collection of games at your fingertips through a cellphone and that is true.

However my gripe is that the games I own in the cloud already digitally on my account, the same account I access gamepass with, why am I not able to access my digital owned content through the cloud gaming service?

The game list they have is pretty nice, and they add on often, but it's nothing like being able to play your own content, and I guess I just miss my stuff, and I see the option that playing through the cloud could be.

I had one of the original xbox's and it just wouldn't turn back on @fringe kelp I took it to a shop to be repaired but the guy said it would cost more to fix it and I'd be better off purchasing a new new one. So im saving but it's just taking longer than I thought.

Think of the logistics of cloud gaming. In order for you to be able to jump right into a game, that means it needs to be installed on an available server already for you to jump right in. That's a hard but manageable problem for the limited number of games in game pass, but imagine multiplying that out by all available games.

That's not to say it's impossible, but it's a hard problem that needs figuring out.

Besides that, a publisher needs to give permission to make a game available on cloud gaming.

Yeah @hollow chasm when you explain it like that, that makes 100% sense and I agree would be extremely difficult, its something maybe we could look to towards the future.

As I said I'm grateful for what they have done, and it's really more so on my end then there's, I was just trying to think of a way to get to my digital games, but probably in another year or so I'd get one.

And @fringe kelp he just said by it being an older model, the chipsets were cooked and it was not worth replacing and I should look to get a new one, so thats was it and I left.

Since there is no 'swap the disc really fast' ridiculousness to the Xbox version of stop n swop, it is all based on achievements / automatic game save loading / etc then yes, it would work the same with the cloud version as with the disc version.

I think it'll be a long while. Theybare playing it smart and slowly rolling out updates. I believe it'll become a standalone service similar to Stadia with a free tier to buy + own games and a Ultimate tier having new games monthly where some will still rotate off.

This should happen being they'll make more money and give us a better service from just remote playing from an Xbox we have less control over. You see now we can't send invites, buy games + in game purchases, just kind basic rn

They are last in the cloud lineup imo they just have the best game library + free EA Play + outside perks like Disney+ YT premium

Facts I know it's coming officially down the line. I play on NV Shield almost perfectly but the video quality isnt the greatest. I try every app update on Chromecast with no luck yet it just eventually freezes.

I tried both Google and Microsoft Xbox's streaming services, and Google's streaming technology is a lot better than Microsoft's in my opinion. I mainly use Xbox Cloud Gaming on my PC since it works better on Windows and Xbox One than it does on Android, iOS, and macOS from my experience
