This is gunna sound like I'm being unhelpful/sarcastic, but you can upgrade your internet plan and/or attempt to move closer to a datacenter (I don't know if this is public information, never looked into it). Other than that, you can wait to see if performance improves after further work is done on the service.

Yeah since it's still in beta there's still things to iron out. There have been times where I've had a better experience with 5G, and other times I have a better experience with home internet.

That being said, they've made huge leaps in performance compared to when it first came out, so I'd probably just wait and see.

Could be worth looking into, sure. 5G speeds can be super impressive. Back when I used to work for a solar company, I would play cloud games at my desk, and there was virtually no input delay depending on the game.

That was years ago and overall performance has gotten even better, but I just remember being super impressed with the Skywalker Saga having effectively zero delay. Felt like I was playing local.

10 is technically enough for a 1080p 60hz video stream, which is what cloud gaming is.

But with overhead, other people on teh network, etc, saying 15-20 minimum is safe.

the problem is people confuse their bandwidth and their latency and their stability.

A 100 meg stream that has 150 ping is not going to cloud game as well as a 24 meg stream with a 2 ping, etc

Chromebooks have a screen recorder built into the OS, anything stopping you from using that?

Quick Settings -> Screen Capture, you'll get a bubble at the bottom of the screen, which will let you switch from screenshot to recording mode.

It'll also let you pick between recording part of or the entire screen, or a specific window, and it'll output that in webm format, which you can use an online converter tool to change into a different format if you'd like.

That’s a shame! My Xbox cloud gaming has been pretty good generally, I use an Ethernet cable to a fire stick 4K and play from the Xbox app on there.
Most common issue is low resolution, then probably dropping out which happens on occasion.
