If you mean just Dark Souls, then for sure DS1 is the "easiest." It plays like you're in slow motion compared to the other games, and a lot of the bosses can be cheesed like they're nothing, even if you're not trying to, simply because of how game design has changed since then.

That being said, if you're talking about FromSoft RPGs as a whole, then it's for sure Elden Ring. Elden Ring is the most accessible for first-time Souls players, and for what it's worth, was also the first one I 100%'d.

It can be kinda hard to say though, honestly, as everyone approaches things differently.

They said they were working on another patch for Gollum and cancelled their follow-up LotR project. Not sure if that patch made it out, but that announcement was end of June.

All improvements will be there, with split-screen coop on Series X. Series S will not feature split-screen coop, but will also include cross-save progression between Steam and Xbox Series.

I got my Xbox for Christmas last year, and with it I've been playing pretty much every game I've wanted to play for years on end.
