I have a question, I had 1 month of game pass ultimate for my Xbox and it expired today but I also had multiple codes for about 1 year worth of game pass ultimate that I could use after my 1 month expired. I tried using them today and they all came up with messages saying “you already own this” or “try again later” even though I have never used the codes up to this point. I then noticed that I had recurring billing turned on because I noticed $15 was taken off by bank account so I turned it off and when I tried to remove my debit card as a billing option it said “try again later”. If anyone knows what is going on that would be great

Codes can be stacked and you can redeem up to a maximum of three years, so nothing should prevent you from doing so and you don't need to wait for one to run out before using another.

Unfortunately you need to use a card, so they can continue the subscription. I'd recommend stacking up a bunch of Gold or Game Pass before upgrading because the first conversion is 1:1

I'd stack up a year or two of it before converting, which you can usually do by getting a bunch of gift codes and applying them to your account until your billing date is far off if that makes sense, because when you upgrade to Ultimate it'll convert any remaining subscriptions to Ultimate on a 1:1 scale the first time. It's a lot cheaper than paying for Ultimate every month in the long run.

Gamepass ultimate is a nice feature but everyone does not play the same titles, and to be honest you gotta admit the selection for a person who is into sports genre, there really isn't much to choose from, opposed to the massive titles of shooters, rpgs, and action style games.

if you never had Ultimate before. all those months of Gold convert to Ultimate so you will get 13 months of Ultimate and wont have to pay again till it ends

you can stack upto 3 years though.. my sub ends May 2023
