Something suddenly struck my mind, I was thinking, if I delete an Xbox game pass PC game, then wud the game saves also get deleted, or can I still retrieve them by any cloud saving of the game (if there is cloud saving for game pass PC games) and how can we sync the game pass PC game saves to the steam version of the game if in case I buy the game on steam after my game pass subscription ends ?

Cloud saving depends on the game, I think, but some PC games do support it, in which case yes, the cloud saves persist even if you delete the local copy of the game (although I think there might be an option to wipe cloud saves as well).
Cloud saves on the Xbox platform don't transfer to Steam, though. Any games that supported cross-progression between the two would have to implement it separately, and to my knowledge that's still relatively rare

Hello! I was able to secure an Xbox series X today! I’m coming from a PS4 for the last gen. I can’t pick the Series X up until next Thursday- I want to be able to do the 36 months Xbox live gold conversion to Game Pass. Do we know if this deal has an end date? I saw a post on Reddit that Monday the 3 months for $1 is/may? end and I’m not sure if that means the conversation will end to?

Can I create a gamer tag before the Xbox arrives, purchase gold and go the conversion so I don’t miss out? Anyone know if that will work? Thanks!

There's no end date on that offer.

There's always a $1 deal on Ultimate, which gives you the 1:1 conversion, but the $1 deal usually offers one month of Ultimate. It's currently three months, but there's no info on when that particular promotion ends.

I have a fair bit of money worth of Xbox gift cards. I've wanted game pass for ages now. I've found probally 10 or so games out of the 100 games on GP. I have enogh money for GP for about 6-7 months is it worth out right buying the games I want bc there fairly cheap if I out right buy the games I will have a few bucks left if I get GP I will be out of vouchers. And it will take me longer then 6 months to finish those games. Any advice

A cheaper option would be to buy a year or more of Xbox Live Gold, then pay $1/£1/1 your currency to upgrade to Ultimate. All your Gold time will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate.

No, they don't give you a discount if you don't use part of the service.

But Gold is cheaper than Ultimate. The 1:1 conversion of Gold to Ultimate is a one-time offer, so if you've never used it before it works out much cheaper for you to stack up on Gold (up to three years) then buy Ultimate to convert it all.

If you have standard Game Pass for console, then it's not included. It will be included with standard Game Pass for PC, but not right now. But if you have Game Pass Ultimate then it is included for console.

So far Quick resume and load times are the killer features for sx for me. Quality/framerate are better, but thats subtle and marginal (compared to a 1x). But omg, being able to jump straight into my game after my kid plays something, so my 15 minutes of "dad game time" is actually game time instead of load time, is unbelievable

it's only monthly if you buy it monthly. If you convert Gold (or regular Game Pass) to Ultimate then you have however much time is converted before you need to pay (other than the introductory $1).
