I kind of appreciate the fact that windows store game pass games are encrypted. Meaning we get the same experience as console players in regards to the number of hackers and modders you see. unlike on steam where it’s no mans land. I still love steam obviously but just having a more secure way to play Microsoft online games is cool I think

@sleek anchor make sure windows and your antivirus are up to date. you can check the 'Xbox Networking' settings page in windows to see if you're able to play MP games It should say up and running next to xbox live services. The other stuff on that page are a good place to start diagnosing with google searches

I could see that article being a stepping stone for people looking for more information about the next-gen consoles, however the bias is fairly strong in favor of Xbox (which isn't an issue, everyone has their own preferences), but clickbaity titles like that just incite more wars.

If something is not available at midnight then there's no way to know what time they will go live without any confirmation from the publisher. Best bet is to check each hour.
Sometimes things hit the store around 4pm or 6pm, but could be any time.
