So with the price hike I also see you can’t use your Microsoft rewards for a month membership anymore. You can only use them for a gift card that you can use towards the subscription. And a $10 gift card is 8750 reward points. So two gift cards ($20) would be 17,500 points. Ultimate was $20 or with the rewards it was 12,000 points for the one month membership. So what I’m getting at is not only do they hike up the price for ultimate but Microsoft rewards also loses a lot of value. Am I correct with that?

With Quantum Break I definitely recommend downloading the 4K movie files to go with it and watch those as you play. It really expands on the in-game universe and experience.

Xbox gets a cut of purchases in the store. F2P games make way more money than individual paid games. In other words, if a F2P makes enough to keep the game alive, it makes enough to be free online. High risk, high reward.

As much as it looks like an AI bandwagon clone, I'll try Supermarket Sim because I'm a sucker for simulator games and they have an addictive gameplay loop that makes my stupid brain happy.

But with some games like this game it's only on the Series and not on the One and only way for a One user to play a Series game is through cloud. And I have a friend who's still on the One that I wanted to play with but she couldn't start it because it wasn't on cloud which was weird since on the post it says cloud

I do own the game and I bought essential for 1499 and it says that I do not have multiplayer privileges. I rebooted the game rebooted Xbox everything everything else is there so it’s active.

Hello, any idea why i have so much input lag even though i have 40-50 ping? It seems like theres like 15-20ms "disturbances" or what ever its called in English, and it sometimes drops to 0, the game speeds up, and theres like 0 input lag, is it problem with Xbox or something on my side? If you’re looking for a discount there are ways to bulk buy although it’s more than it used to be.

Theirs also a lot of pc centric games like ck3, manor lords, the newly released supermarket simulator.

This entire thing was because the price was going up no matter what. People keep coming up with misinformation after misinformation as to why the price went up.

Game Pass Ultimate might not be worth it to you.. right now, it's definitely worth it to me. If it goes up again, I'm likely to drop down to premium, but atm I am happy with it.

Just like I dropped to PS Plus Extras because Premium does nothing for me.

Yeah, PS Plus Premium is not a service I would encourage to try unless you wanted to try the classics library (bear in mind they are 10 dollars each anyway), or if you are interested in PS3 streaming

I think a bigger problem is that I'm not sure it is sustainable long term, bc you are vulnerable to price increases at any time and we have seen those be more frequent and higher than how wages rise.

I'm buying some gp ultimate codes which are still at $20 but once that is gone will probably downgrade to premium or essential, bc $30 is too much imo even with day one release.

Yeah I mean having access to many games, has helped me to try many games which I've found enjoyable without having to buy them initially specially triple AAA day one and that has been great.

And games are now also selling at a higher price than the usual $60, as time goes by games eventually go into sale at some point then buying them seems better than a subscription.

I have another question about rewards points for gift cards. I went to redeem the $10 Xbox gift card and it was listed as 8750 points but it only let me select “auto redeem.” After I selected auto redeem nothing happened. My points stayed the same and no gift card. I then backed out and found the $10 gift card that without the auto redeem option and would be able to redeem the gift card but this time it was 9500 points. I’m confused and I hope this wasn’t too confusing to explain I hope someone can help me out. What I exactly is this auto redeem and why are the points required different and what should I do? I think auto redeem is monthly. System checks if you have enough points for your set goal, and redeems for you. If you don’t want to wait for the auto redeem to trigger, you can self redeem.

I have about 23,000 rewards points saved up. My next charge for the gamepass subscription comes out in 2 days. I believe Oct. 22. And the last time it will be $20 before the increase. So if I wanted to use gift cards I would have to manually redeem them for 9500 points? I’m confused why the auto redeem is cheaper at 8750 and how to use it. Or are you saying that on Nov. 1st it will automatically redeem 2 gift cards (since I have enough points for 2) and they will be put into my Microsoft account?

Some folks reporting finding time cards as cheap as 17 dollars in some stores. Obviously won't be like that everywhere and who knows for how long but doesn't hurt to keep an eye out when you go shopping, theyre like in every store.

Xbox game pass, for the entire catalog the quality is alright. 20 really good games, the rest of games from the last 5-8 years that have always been there, filler products to add a number to the 400. Now, you lower your tier, those 20-30 really exciting games you might find on gamepass is basically reduced to 2-5 So now you have 5 good games, a lesser category that why would you pay for.

Point is the xbox catalog on ultimate barely holds a quality service, reduce that even further and there is no reason to ever buy premium or core unless you want online service
