There are some solutions but the most efficient way is to contact support on the Xbox page.
From what I know, it's like an error that doesn't detect the Gamepass subscription correctly, so support does a "reset" to your subscription.

I must say that it has never happened to me, only now that I have just renewed my subscription, but there are people who have had this error before

i never got sent a code, and got bounced back and forth from the card retailer and xbox customer support. now i'm told it will take 2-4 weeks to recieve the code
so what in the world was the point of the code in the first place if it can take a month after even getting the credit card in the first place? is the player just not supposed to use game pass for a whole month just to remain eligible for the code?

Wanted to buy gamepass but the first thing I saw is that I cannot see my country for the region settings in the startup which is worrying me quite a bit, forced to switch to UK to be able to browse and play free games but I want to buy games from the store, and be prepared for GTA 6 and I cannot change my credit card region so I can't input my postcode to add a payment method, now I know I can't get ultimate gamepass for console but am I able to buy games individually from the store or I'm forced to redeem codes instead? Please! really need help now, gamepass isn't worked to be bought from the console but am I able to get games separate from the store with my romanian credit card?

Changing region to one where you dont live is marketplace fraud and violates Terms of Service. If your region is not supported for the service, then you don't use it. Simple as that.
