The error you're likely getting is to "redeem on a different website", and that is one of two reasons you'd get that error, the second being that you live in an unsupported region.

It's not something that everyone gets. They sometimes come with different items, like if you buy a new laptop it will sometimes come with one, but they're for new people only. If you have/or have had Game Pass, you can't use it.

They streamlined it so basically all the recent cods like black ops 6, mw2, mw3, and maybe some others can all be played from the same general hub called COD HQ.

Frankly just play black ops 6 itā€™s a better game in all ways and is on gamepass. And for any cod before black ops 6 you have to own it to play it, they didnā€™t put the older pre black ops 6 cods onto gamepass.

Unless youā€™re trying to play campaign? Cod campaigns are fun so overtime I rent the games or get them when their really cheap like $10 just for the campaigns I donā€™t play much cod multiplayer bo6 is the first multiplayer Iā€™ve played since a few months of BO4 and before that not since BO2 and before that long after launch MW2 both on the og 360 lol.

Frankly doing so is a major deal so if they do it, theyā€™re gonna wanna spend a bunch and come up with a huge marketing campaign. Maybe even align it with release or announcement of a remaster of an old cod for nostalgia points to make the marketing stick.

I understand not using morally grey sites to pay for keys especially if youā€™re wealthy but just like in the gold days paying money for month is way overpaying. $50 for 3 months of ultimate vs $20 a month. Which is 16.67 per month, Hulu costs me $3 a month so thatā€™s free Hulu for me. If you pay any sales taxes additional savings.

Also you can have it auto renew after any existing time itā€™s not one or the other. If you forget to rebuy itā€™ll still pay month to month subscription for ultimate.

Well many times companies especially smaller American based ones will charge thing in USD and your bank converts it into Canadian and then takes it from your account.

Youā€™ll only see a cost in Canadian but thatā€™s what happens in the background. In Xbox case no itā€™s just Canadian ofc they have regional pricing in local currency but Microsoft is a 3 trillion dollar multi multi national corporation.

Gamepass has gotten expensive. I remember it used to be $14.99 usd a month.

I got my series x on a 2 year financing plan. Basically they bundle the cost of 2 years of gamepass + the cost of a series x and divide it by 24 and you pay that amount monthly.

Youā€™d own the console in the meantime and stop paying once new 2 years was up. It was $34 and some change per month. Thatā€™s Including the console and gamepass. Also for some reason it was $20-30 cheaper than the full cost of 2 years of gamepass and a series x.

It was an amazing deal bc 0% interest when inflation was at 8-12% means a free 8-12% return and this was during covid chip shortage when nobody could buy a series x or ps5. Only way I could get a series x was this way but it was a good deal no the less.

The problem is I have severe nerve damage in my wrists and elbow which makes using a mouse and keyboard hell.

Also with my severe back pain the only way I can even sit is a very ergonomic couch reclined. Also the ease of use of a console helps a lot when Iā€™m already wanting to die from the pain I donā€™t wanna deal with some annoying driver or optimizing settings a lot of the time.

I hope to one day be able to build myself a really good pc but not important. Iā€™m beyond happy with my series x.

60fps is such an upgrade over last gen 30fps and when I was a pc gamer I had a really crappy pc so I couldnā€™t enjoy a lot of games and the ones I could were simple. Thankfully I was a cs go 4:3 ultra competitive so it was fine. Thatā€™s the only game I played for a long long time. Reached global elite and was really good at it lol

With my back beyond messed up like I had a spinal fusion at 21 it was that bad and Iā€™m prescribed fentanyl patches, oxycodone and very strong muscle relaxers just to keep the pain somewhat under control console is a lot easier for me. Just living is hard. Games are one of my only enjoyments in my miserable life.

The reason people are saying that is that being on the Ultimate tier is kinda ridiculous right now. The only two games we even get are Diablo and UFC 5. I personally still think it's a great deal, but I get why people are a little peeved. We're paying premium prices and not getting premium games (at least this time). There are 2 or 3 day 1 releases coming this month (iirc) and a few more over the next few months, so I still think Ultimate is better then any other tier.

These people just aren't looking at the bigger picture here.

Idk, Ultimate-wise I'm relatively happy with xCloud, I'm testing Linux, so it's letting me play Game Pass stuff without having to flip to Windows then back on Linux

So I see they changed the quests for the game pass rewards. I havenā€™t calculated the points but it sure looks like they reduced the possible points you can get in a month. I was completing all the quests every month and it was nice cuz every few months I would have enough for a free month of gamepass. If you can still earn the same amount of points but they just changed the requirements then no big deal but it doesnā€™t look that way at first glance. They increased the price for gamepass (second increase in a years time) and I believe the reason was cuz they got COD. A game that has so many things broken but all they do is try to get every possible dollar from the players with ridiculously overpriced bundles. So now it looks like Microsoft changed the rewards program so it will take longer to earn the same rewards. The greed and constant money grab from all directions is getting insane now. But I hope Iā€™m wrong cuz I didnā€™t calculate anything. Still trying to figure it out. Am I the only one annoyed?

Looking for advice on game pass stacking.

My Ultimate sub renews / expires on the 17th.

Now I could buy 4*3 month game pass ultimate to get another years worth at Ā£91 or I could spend roughly the same and get 36 months worth of game pass core.

What is the current upgrade ratio for game pass from core to ultimate? how many months will I lose?

Upgrading Core to Ultimate will come at a 2:1 ratio (i.e. 6 months Ultimate per 12 months of Core).

This is tuned to be an equivalent match to the monthly price of Core (because inferring how much you paid for that length of Core is "hard"). If you can get Core for cheaper than the monthly price then this will be a better deal for you.

On the other hand, if you apply Core tokens to an existing Gold membership it isn't a fixed ratio, I'm pretty sure it will be done at exactly dollar value (since those are known). So (in USD) a year token of Gold ($60) will apply $60 worth of Ultimate time while 12 one-month Gold tokens ($120) will get you twice as much Ultimate credit.

Oh, I was talking about the classic conversion approach which was to let the Ultimate expire, add cheap Gold, then upgrade again to Ultimate.
