Basically, I've been playing Watch Dogs 2 on Xbox console now for some time, I really like it, even bought the Season Pass and some cosmetic items, but now I wanted to play it on PC using the gamepass

The problem is that on PC, Ubisoft forces me to use their launch to play the game, and for some reason my save-file and bought items just won't load on ubisoft launcher.

It seems like the majority of Activision Blizzard developed and published will never be added into game pass. Probably something like limited game pass growth projections if they were, more profitable and less work too by not adding the total library of games I guess

There's a lot of games, each with their own legal complications and possibly existing deals that are in place for other services in some cases. There may also be certain limitations on what they can add or when due to how complex the issues were obtaining the acquisition in the first place. Such as cloud rights for the games needing to go to Ubisoft etc.

Also, adding the games gradually over time is better for the service than dropping a massive collection all at once. It avoids overloading people too much and keeps people paying if more games get added over time.

It's not even a drip feed of Activision Blizzard games. It is clear that they are in zero hurry to and any. I doubt they will ever include the entire library of those games. I also don't see legal reasons when talking Activision Blizzard self developed and published games getting added to games pass, they own them and have them up for sale on various store fronts already so if they can sell them I don't see how any legal obstacles exist

Because PC Gamepass is a different product. The console Gamepass tiers of service also include "Xbox live" which PC doesn't require. I'm sure there is more to that pricing model, but that is the biggest one I think.

It often encourages you to explore more of a game, and maybe play in different ways you wouldn't normally play. For a large number of games, having the 100% tells me that I've kinda experienced all I can with that game, and it is time to move on.

That's not ALWAYS the case, but that's kind of how I use it for games I really like.

It gives people a similar feeling for like, finishing a long level or a hard boss (depending on the achievement). But with something to show that you did it. It's partly a community thing too. When I am talking about a game the first thing people in my circle usually say is "oh I 100% that". And we all know exactly what they have experienced in the game. Free to talk about it. Whatever.

Of course. I don't really bring up my completions either. But Avatar pushed me to do a sidequest I would have probably skipped, but because there was an achievement related to it. I am trying to install a game through Xbox Game Pass on drive F, but I cannot select any folder because I keep receiving the message: "This folder is not available, please try another." Even though the drive is formatted as NTFS, the Xbox app is preventing me from using the desired folder. Despite adjusting the permissions, the issue persists.

This is a tricky question. Simple download speed isn't the only factor for this. I went from 1gb to paying less than half what I was paying for 300 and nothing else changed. So neither did my streaming speed of anything, including cloud gaming. Upload speed and wifi, distance and devices all stayed the same, so performance was the same.
