Hey so I have game pass ultimate and I was thinking of getting my brother an Xbox. Is it possible to set his Xbox as my home Xbox, and we can both play the same game at the same time, or does that not work?

If you set his Xbox as the Home Xbox for your account, he will be able to use the subscriptions and games you have, and vice versa, if he puts your Xbox as his Home Xbox, you can use his games/subscriptions.

Do note that this is meant to be for people who live together, and on top of that, there are certain things that won't share, but in my experience this isn't super common with most content. I think the most recent example is the early access for the Black Ops 6 beta. Only the account that has the Ultimate subscription can play it early, accounts it is shared to cannot.

does anyone know how to get through to second tier support on xbox? my account has been broken for about a year (perks on gamepass don't work (on any platform: mobile, pc or xbox), i can't see featured games on the gamepass app on xbox (i can still download and play them), and now discord doesn't work either; whenever i contact support and after being on the phone with them for an hour (doing the reset your xbox stuff for the 10th time), they open a ticket with second tier support who then sends me an email asking me questions but then never replies when i send answers...

I know the online store does not sell platinum editions and I have already tried uninstalling and re-installing and making sure the game pass version was not the one installed. There is no such thing as a "platinum version" of a game in the sense that there's any difference between the regular version. Platinum Hits games just meant they sold well and were put in a different case.

Also, you didn't read the full support message otherwise you would have seen it tell you to make a post. That would be unnecessary in this scenario, however, but you could try to find a solution for the crashes.

Downloading a game digitally gives you the most up-to-date version of that game that's available on Xbox.

Interesting. Unfortunately, I'm unsure what can be done because 360 DLC on discs has always been really difficult.

I would insert the disc and check the store page for the DLC to see if it says "installable." If you have already done this, it might be worth Googling to see if anyone has found any solution for the DLC.

I know with Oblivion, for example, the GOTY edition came on two discs and you had to use the second one to get the store to recognize you "had" the DLC.

Anyone crashing when trying to play bo6 due to a mp24 error I found a fix

this yesterday and I managed to fix mine by doing the following

Windows button - (search) controlled folder access - enable this

Then on the left hand side go to virus threat and protection - click protection history - look through till you see app or process blocked: MP24-cod.exe or anything related to cod, once located each one click actions and allow on device do this to ALL related to cod restart pc and load up again

Fyi if u play xb1 games via game pass u could also store and play them off a portable hdd or ssd. Just know u could store optimized titles on the external but not play them. Optimized titles only on internaln or a expansion card
