I always find release order is always the best order regardless of the series.

Otherwise you're jumping around between games of varying levels of technical quality and features. You'll be going from older games to one with much better graphics and quality of life improvements, then back to an older one with those features missing.

If the story was meant to be played in a specific order, it would have released in that order.

The cars feel like total crap to drive, the way the models are designed it's easy to get your wheels stuck on other cars or the environment, the brakes are big poo (spam the brakes y'all, don't hold them), and not to mention the scripted crashes will absolutely take you out and cause you to lose if you don't expect them, which obviously you wouldn't if it's your first time playing, so that's 1-2 restarts for free.

It's absolutely as bad as it is notorious for being.

it has good gameplay and story, but the dialogue is completely unlistenable. It doesnt translate well to English and it makes the characters really unlikeable. Just play it in original Russian with english subtitles and youll be fine.

Not really, in my opinion. It's straight up Soviet-era propaganda (which I first thought was just satire but it really stopped feeling like satire) and the gameplay becomes very stale early on.

Because the ads are shown for everyone, it's a standard ad. But that price is for new subscribers only, so if you see full price it means you've had it before.

They're reorganizing the game files today to help make the install smaller.

Never said it wasn't, but that's how updates work. If you change something in one block of data, you have to update the entire block. If they're gunna reorganize the game files to take up less space, they have to update everything that's installed. My update was only 80 GB because I just have HQ and MW3 (2023) multiplayer installed.

After the update, you should have more freedom to install what you want, and as a result, should have less total install size.
